The hotel had been remodeled and decorated very nicely. For a smaller hotel it was great that there was a concierge that assisted us with tours and info for other local attractions. The staff answered our questions and were very professional. Also it was convenient that our car was allowed to remain in the parking area until 5p even though we had to check out of the room at 11a. This allowed us to finish some last minute shopping.
所有评语 » We had a lovely, quiet room on the back. Breakfast was very good. The best thing was Mary, the concierge, who was extremely knowledgeable and friendly about tours, places to eat, etc. She made reservations for us and gave us excellent ideas. The location of this hotel is perfect for walking either the riverfront or the historic district. It was especially quiet for being in the heart of the Historic District. It was a particularly busy week because of the Music Festival, but the motel was located on the outskirts of the district so the sound of traffic was tolerable. The location was still convenient enough to walk through the Historic District to eat and shop. scott was great! you guys hire very well. room was clean and comfortable. location near hiway was barely tolerable. frat boys invasion was not. hope you nailed them good for their damage. kyle is a true treasure and added enormously to our visit. keep him very happy!. Location to historic Savannah and the riverfront was excellent. My double bed room was tastefully decorated with a spacious granite and tiled bath, comfortable bed and great pillows. Price of the room during a busy holiday week was a very good value. The staff and location was awesome. The breakfast was also very good and had a great variety. The room itself was nice and was better than I expected. For the price and to be within walking distance of the historic sites, we will stay here again. I had read review that the rooms were noisy but did not find that to be true. I found the room very nice and the bathroom very roomy. The beds were comfortable. The service was excellent. The breakfest was very good. The location was perfect. Appears renovated, great decor, size of room and beautiful bathroom. Able to walk to most things, very helpful concierge, not pushy, but helpful. Great deal on the room. Will definitely stay again when in Savannah. Hotel was near places we wanted to see. we were not able to get internet in our room, and it was slow in the lobby,. too close to hiway noise. Coffee served at breakfast was weak and I had to wait for it. More choices in coffee would be nice. The breakfast room was very crowded, serving until 10:00 am would be nice. A few complimentary newspapers in the breakfast area, lounge would be appreciated. Would hve like a hair dryer too. I did not like the concierge on duty when I checked in. I found her to be snobby and not helpful at all. The conciege on Saturday morning went out of his way to be helpful. Difficult to park, also parking fee. Entrance off street is not really welcoming, stairs..I'm not big on motel type doors accessible to outside. Breakfasts were not well done. Small pool. Nothing!. That pets were aloud to stay at the hotel. Room was a little small Not enough parking-I didn't know that parking would be extra and not included with our paid room!. Ambience and style of hotel spoilt by a breakfast served up using plastic and paper/cardboard tableware!. The beds and pillows were small. Definitely paying for the location and not the quality of the hotel. Paid parking. Online their hotel says their outdoor pool is heated... it is not. There was no ironing board in my room, so I in formed the front desk and the young gentleman desk clerk said he would locate one and it would be in my room when I returned that evening. I never received one and had to iron all of our clothes on the granite sink top!. Room a bit tatty....clean but looking a little worn. Paying to park on the hotel parking lot. It was a little noisy, but I expected being in the city. Lots of outside noise could be heard in the rooms. Noisy sports groups and extraordinary increase in price per night from $69 to $199 for spring break season. light bulb was out. Did not like unfair charge of 12.00$ for parking on hotel premises. The free breakfast selection was great however there was not enough seating to accommodate the number of people eating. Room smell, too much furniture for the space, the floor to ceiling mirror mounted RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE TOILET!. Noise1 Could not sleep from about 3:00AM due to street traffic, es pecially large trucks. You need a new facility in a better area. Staff was unfriendly and not very knowledgable. I thought it was a little expensive for what you got but it is by far cheaper than any other hotel in that area. We were located in #127 which is at the back of the building where there was trash laying around. The ice machine or soda machines didn't work, and you are located at the extreme corner of the district. Why do you charge to park a car $12.00 when the Quality Inn next door is free?. Very noisy area. Also we were given wrong room number but the woman who was staying in that room was nice about it. This also happened to the friends we were meeting. Not worth nearly $200 a night - not even close. Bathroom was pretty rundown and beat up. Breakfast in the hotel. I feel that the rooms were inflated due to the Rock and Roll, its price gouging at its best! We also DID NOT get breakfast! Your hotel knew of the event but did not have breakfast ready for the runners. Unhappy with stay in general due to price and breakfast. The floor in our room had gotten wet and there was mildew present. We noticed ants and roaches in the room. My granddaughter fell stepping to the parking lot from a raised area where there were no signs that the step down was a foot!. Extremely uncomfortable mattress. Bugs in room. (I killed several). I asked to have mattress changed if possible and room sprayed for bugs....neither issues were addressed. Very noisy. Hotel advertised free internet but staff couldn't get it to work in our room.
