location, easy to get around, beauty of the grounds,pool, beach access, cleaniness of beach,nice employees, their helpfulness,use of bikes,umbrellas,etc. for our needs.comfort level was nice as most people there were like us, there to enjoy themselves, not hoity-toity at all, very laid-back, nice view of gulf/sunrise/beach.for sure would come back & would recommend. This hotel was one of the best I have stayed at in Sanibel. I have been going to this area since I was a kid and the staff and location of the hotel went beyond what I was expecting. My wife and I can not wait to start planning another trip to the island and stay here again.
所有评语 » This was a perfect location for us being close to beaches, and the "Ding" darling Nature Reserve. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The hotel offered us good value for money. Relaxing, comfortable, clean and lovely views of the beach. Really enjoyed using the use of the free bikes, the pool was excellent as well. Great island to explore. A very nice island to explore, walking along the beach or by bicycles. The room at Sanibel Inn was large and comfortable. A very enjoyable stay, Recommended. The staff was overwhelmingly friendly and accommodating. Marion and Cheryl(Song of the sea/sister resort), were both incredibly professional and welcoming. the view from the room, bike hire, sunbed hire, the attendant for bike and carrying beds and umbrella to beach, very helpful and friendly man,. Registration was easy and friendly. The room was well appointed. The breakfast at the Sea Star was very good but pricey. Very friendly, helpful staff. Nicely decorated rooms. Shower and changing rooms for before or after check in/out. we liked the location, just off the beach, and the pool was convenient and the staff was very helpful. The facility was clean and comfortable. No one was in your way or trying to sell you something. cleanliness of the room-new mattresses and pillows (5!!!)-staff friendly and accommodating!!. I love the location we were right on the beach and the pool was literally in our backyard. Very quiet. Staff very friendly and courtious. Given the opportunity we will return . The room was spotless. The location was perfect. Staff were super efficient. Extremely comfortable!! Staff was amazing! Definatelly going back!. Nice all around. The view was nice and the staff friendly especially the man at the cabana with the towels and umbrellas. The staff was very friendly. We did enjoy the pool and pool bar there. We also found some cool shells. Location of beach was it. The beach. rooms could have been a little cleaner,understand we were there for several days so didn't need the room & bedding/towels each day but when did clean, could have been a little better. Nothing, all was great. While the location is amazing, the facility itself is on the older side. I was expecting a little bit more of a luxury resort escpecially for the cost per night. did not like tiny flies that managed to get into the room in spite of netting on balcony, and no electric kettle, only two packs of creamer and two packs of coffee, we stayed in periwinkle block, shower curtain torn, from rings,. We did not have good weather and that was no ones fault. It would have been nice to have a place to go to play indoor games. When the sun did come out there was no one at the beach hut to get us towels for use at the pool. The restaurant was okay for breakfast, but probably needs a little more polish. The booking system is a mess. they need to change booking agents. weekend Tiki Bar tender Doug-not service oriented and not very charming-as all other staff was. Loved everything about it. The bikes on site were quite worn. Parking is not paved and dusty. House cleaning staff woke us up at 9:30 AM and asked when we would be checking out! Coffee in room was not stocked properly. No complementary breakfast. Bath tub was slippery and dangerous. Should have non skid surface or mat. Bikes had to be returned at 5:00. Would have been great to use them in the cooler evenings. Also, constant issues with electronic door key lock all week. Pool closed too early. The seeums. Little pricey. Only 1 arm chair. The bikes had to be returned by 5:00 p.m., and the beach bar was overpriced and needs some exterior work. It was all good. The breakfast. family resort-a little noisy. When they say 3 pm check in they mean it. We arrived early but couldn't get in until right at 3. Drinks were expensive at the tiki bar, but the bartender was friendly and efficient. We weren't informed prior to booking that the pool bar closed at 7pm. We had ants in our room. One of the chairs on our balcony was broken. Also the few times we watched tv in our room, the sound would go in and out. The water at the beach was real murky, but I was told it was due to a storm. We needed an early check-in time and made that clear every step. Reservations.. Called ahead before arrival..Arrived at 11 and was told was cleaning room. At 3:57 I finally got key for room. 5 Hours later. We were promised an early arrival. Dirty carpeting. Place needs updating. Not a good value for money at all. All except thé beach !!!!.
