Great central location, close to San Diego's bus and trolley lines, shopping in vintage shops, lots of restaurants in gay-friendly Hillcrest area. Nice continental breakfast included and staff ensured that foods were replenished and dining area cleaned constantly. Hotel caters to tourist couples, singles, and families. Close access to two highways but we heard no noise from traffic. Lovely, large room w fully stocked full kitchen incl microwave, full fridge, stove top/oven. Room clean and bed c.
所有评语 » The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our suite was very clean with a balcony overlooking the pool and on the right spot for a late afternoon sunshine. It lacked a corkscrew, I asked for it and is was brought to the room within 5 minutes. And the best: the location! Vibrant Hillcrest accross the street, a new Vons 5 min walking and close to all major roads. This place gives a lot of space and is very clean and has a decent (not outstanding) breakfast for a very good price. It is in a really nice neighborhood, near the zoo and near the offices I needed to visit on business. My family was with me and the kids had plenty of space and loved the pool. Breakfast bar and the very high energy lady. Ample parking for just $9 per day. Tons of restaurants and whole foods within 5 min walking distance. It's surprisingly quite if the doors are closed. Cookies and refreshing drink at check in. Big room, comfortable bed, kitchen facilities & private balcony. Enjoyed the continental breakfast; good food & friendly energy. Also, for us, the convenience of being in Hillcrest close to friends & family. The hotel was great. However I wish the hospitals weren't that close the amount of ambulances coming and going was overwhelming at times. Nevertheless the whole experience was great. We'll come again. The staff was outstanding! The suite was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices and fruit and coffee available all day. The cookies, delicious!. The location of the hotel is great, right by the park and in the middle of Hillcrest. Although the facility is an older one, the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The great staff, the location in the Hillcrest neighborhood with amenities and near Balboa Park, easy access to Downtown, quiet rooms, convenient, kitchen. This is my favorite place to stay when I'm in San Diego. It's centrally located for everything I need to do, plus it's always clean and friendly staffed. Very professional and friendly staff who were consistently very capable. The ladies in the Breakfast Room were also just delightful. friendly staff; very convenient; loved that it had kitchenette and laundry facility; great welcome with cookies and flavored water. It was very conveniently located, so we could walk to most of the places we wanted to go. We will be back. close to everything ,daily breakfast ,and the bbq on Friday w/ wine. Although there is a charge for on-site parking, very reasonable and a third of what hotels in gas lamp/harbor charge and in/out access. We arrived 2hours before check-in but she took my cell number in case a room opened up earlier, she would call. Very happy helpful staff and knowledgeable about food, bus/trolley lines: not really a dislike of anything about hotel/staff/location. Nothing at all. Its right by the hospital so there can be siren noise though there is soundproofing. The parking lot flooded a bit while we were there, too. (heavy rains) the breakfast is nice what there is but it lacks protein options for those who can't do cereal/pastry. Tv was not hd but did not matter much. Parking wasn't horrible but hard to find a spot after the evening...but for the price, it wasn't bad at all. The parking underneath the hotel has very narrow spaces. It is fine for small cars, but larger cars have trouble making the corners or fitting in the spaces. N/A. bathroom and suite a little dated. Nothing. The bed was very uncomfortable. Too soft. Nothing. Wish the jacuzzi was open a little later at night, wasn't able to enjoy it after having dinner out. Paying for small parking spots,. It's a little difficult to find the hotel at first time. pool was shut down last two days for repair had three kids hard to keep them busy. Breakfast could use more fresh fruit and protein options. There was a sign posted about "Cancer causing agents in the building" and materials are supposedly available from the Front Desk. The clerk was nice but he cannot produce anything as he was not trained to deal with that. I was a little disappointed. Very noisy: right across the street from a hospital so we heard literally 15 ambulance sirens, as early as 6:10 am. Busy street noise. Neighbor noise (toilets flushing, footsteps, conversations, etc.). Carpets had not been cleaned in years, my feet were black when I stepped in the shower. Hotel is dated and worn looking Very unreliable internet connection. The carpet wasn't clean. the pool was tiny. Noisy room because it was exposed to busy street.
