The hotel staff went above and beyond for us. While there, the May snowstorm went through and they scooped out my car as I had a spec needs child with me. They did their best to answer our questions on road reports and tried to make us as comfortable during a very stressful situation. I cant say enough great things about this hotel!!!!. We were very happy with our stay at ABVI in Rochester, MN. We had special requests regarding our room and they were excellent in accommodating us. They are doing extensive remodeling and it's turning out VERY nice. Breakfast choices were numerous and were all very good. We will stay there again when in Rochester!.
所有评语 » It was a pleasant hotel, very clean and comfortable. Both men on the desk were very nice, helpful and friendly. The second gentleman helped me when I didn't have my glasses and gave him too much money and promptly gave it back to me. Not everyone does that. I will definitely come again. This is the 2nd time that I have stayed at this hotel. It was very convenient for both myself and my mom. It was nice to have the shuttle to take me to my first appointment and back to the hotel. I plan to stay there in the future because it is very convenient and reasonable in price. I liked that you had a large spa and a bar and restaurant on site. Staff in the bar/restaurant were very friendly and nice. I liked the price and the convenience to get to Mayo clinic and hospital. It will be my first choice if I have to stay again. The whole establishment (employees) was so friendly. The rooms, food & bar was all priced very fair. The next time we come to Rochester mn, we will be staying at The Americas Best Value Inn. Nice that it had a bar/restruant on property and the food was good. My stay was quiet and I would stay there again. continental breakfast, free wi-fi, fitness center, pool, comfortable bed, good lighting, good parking, on the free shuttle to the Mayo Clinic, basket of apples in lobby, refrigerator and microwave in room. They were in the process of construction and remodeling during my stay. However I had one of the new rooms which was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very helpful and I would stay there again. We have stayed there twice. The location is great. Staff is ...ok. Sometimes they were a bit abrupt rather than friendly, but they were busy. The value is excellent. We will stay again. Beds were very comfortable. Great shower temp . I like hot & hubby likes cool .Week day front desk employees were very friendly and competent. Easy access to where we needed to go. I had a medical appointment the morning so I had to check out and did not use the contential breakfast but I checked to see what I was missing and it was clean and comfortable looking. The kids loved the pool, especially the kiddie pool with slide. We also loved the jacuzzi in our room. The continental breakfast was also great, more than a typical motel breakfast. HBO was very snowy and I missed my favorite show on sunday Night. The only negative that I found with this hotel was the sheets on the bed. Both beds had sheets that were very worn and pilled. Like sleeping on mild sandpaper. The bed I slept in had a large burned hole on the side at the head of the bed so they could use some new sheets. Didnt really visit the pool, bar or other areas...mentioned the staff already altho the desk clerk mailed me some shoes we had forgotten and I am so thankful for that! Cant think of anything we didnt like. No creamer or sugar in room for coffee . Breakfast choices not that great. Room not cleaned one day. No plug in to recharge my cell phone. Nothing. Each time I went to the front desk, I had to wait for someone to help me. There were people in front of me also waiting. Maybe they need to hire an extra person to help out so they don't keep people waiting so long. Staff was very nice tho, once they showed up. a little dated but not a big deal. Housekeeping did poor job of replenishing room. Front desk supplied more materials than housekeeping did. Nothing. Having to hunt on the internet to get the best price,. Shuttle hrs were difficult with having young child but still appreciative to have it. Nothing!. Nothing. Freezer in fridge did not keep cold. Poor internet service in room although good business center. The building is showing its age. Peeling paint above the shower and the sink in the bathroom was extremely short. The window was fogged up as well with moisture inside it. The room was nothing special, but it was clean and the beds were softer than your usual motel/hotel beds. Rooms were clean but the hallways could have been vacuumed. no negatives. staff were not always at the desk. i was not told upfront about the 20 dollar holding fee. breakfast started at 6 and our shuttle came at 6:15 so we didnt have enough time to eat. plus, there wasnt much variety with the food unless it wasnt ready...there was waffles (which we didnt have time for) and sausage and biscuits-no eggs :(. Can't think of anything. My wife complains about 'everything' so I will not belabor you with further comments. I thought it unusual with scrambled eggs for breakfast, no bacon, sausage, was served with it. The air conditioning unit in my room did not seem to work, but fortunately, it was quite comfortable in my room with just the fan on the unit. Air conditionmer was noisy. Restaurant/bar wasn't open. It was under construction, did not know that when we booked reservations. Draft coming in from our bedroom window. Overall though nice. The air conditioner was difficult to control. Water temperature was cool when taking a shower. It would be nice if sink was not in bathroom. pillows were too lumpy....could not sleep.... noisy people in the hall at midnight and 3 am. peeling paint.. The hotel was under construction, and there was the smell of dog in our room. Housekeeping sprayed the carpet, and it helper for a few hours, but not all day. At the time of our stay there was remodeling going on so the continental breakfast was very lame as the selection was limited.
