  I liked the unintentional retro-funky look to the property. It was neat in so many ways....cool pool, restaurant, greenery, etc. The desk personnel were both greate. - The staff was really nice, the facilities were very nice too, I looked the look and decoration of the place. It's a perfect spot to have a local feel of Puerto Rico.

  The front dest staff is friendly and helpful. The location is one block off the beach and is in close proximity to a number of local restaurants and MacDonald'S. The street in front of the hotel, McReary, has a bus 53 that goes to Old San Juan or a taxi for $18. The hotel has a sister location one block away, Acacia, that might appeal to the more trendy. - Only a block from the beach, the location is excellent. It is very clean and picturesque. A spoiled rotten pet cat who greeted all guests completed the "home away from home" treatment. The swimming pool is beautiful, and the staff could not be friendlier.   My family has been staying there for decades every time we vacation in PR -- since back when it was double the size, a beautiful pool, and dozens of iguanas in the patio!   I really enjoyed the location and it's proximity to Ashford Avenue, and two blocks from the beach.   The service. We were a family of 8, with our 10 month old grandchild...the staff worked hard to make sure that our stay was comfortable. We had a regular room, a junior suite, and two king suites. Unfortunately, the air conditioning went out in both king suites.   I was so pleasantly surprised about this hotel! It was so clean and the staff so friendly. The location is amazing! The beach is so calm and great for swimming and there is a coral reef in easy swimming distance from the shore! The town of Patillas was such an escape.   The Hotel Plaza De Armas was the perfect location for exploring Old San Juan! The free trolley stops right at the door and the cruise and ferry docks are an easy walk away. The hotel had no special attractions other than old world charm, good location and GREAT staff.   The Coral Princess was recommended to us by another travelling couple and they said it was simple, clean and fit their needs. When we got there we thought it was more than that. The pool is small but in a really cute cour - Courtyard was beautiful and provided guests a great place to relax and use free wi-fi, plus tables for eating or playing cards. Pool was just the right size to cool off after a long day of shopping and sight- seeing. A good food selection was provided each day for breakfast with juice, coffees, and hot chocolate all day. Small library was an added plus not to mention areas on top floor to relax, play billiards, or just people watch. We loved it!
