The Coral Princess was recommended to us by another travelling couple and they said it was simple, clean and fit their needs. When we got there we thought it was more than that. It's a beautiful hotel with only 25 rooms. The staff is attentive and polite. The hotel features paintings by a local artist and adds such a personal flair. The rooms are clean and feature an ipod dock, controllable a/c and a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom (at least room 2 did!). The pool is small but in a really cute cour.

Courtyard was beautiful and provided guests a great place to relax and use free wi-fi, plus tables for eating or playing cards. Pool was just the right size to cool off after a long day of shopping and sight- seeing. A good food selection was provided each day for breakfast with juice, coffees, and hot chocolate all day. Small library was an added plus not to mention areas on top floor to relax, play billiards, or just people watch. We loved it!. Very nice location. Close to everything that you need to see in san juan. Couple of blocks to the very nice beach. Restaurants are close by and the food is good. We loved the jacuzzi on the rooftop. The breakfast was good and staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The Coral Princess is like a little gem in El Condado. The building reminds me of an old Spanish casa and it is nicely maintained. The hotel has great rates for the location. El Condado Beach is only a block away and shops are all around. I look forward to returning here. Quaint older hotel in downtown San Juan. Convenient to Old San Juan, free trolley available. Continental breakfast was good. Free espresso, latte's anytime. Wifi without charge in the hotel. con: parking was $13 for 24 hours which isn't ideal if you're on a budget but I believe all hotels in the area charge similar rates unless you can find street parking. We had one of the smaller rooms, but it was clean and bathroom was updated. The bed was a little too short for my height. (6'3"). The roof top jacuzzi could use some stairs for entering, could be warmer (we like it hot) and needed maintenance when we arrived and was completed in two days. All in all a good experience. Nothing really, although we just stayed for one night (before our cruise). Our room was a bit basic. nothing. pool closed a little early but that is how most hotels are so no big deal. Mattress was too hard and sheets were scratchy. These should be upgraded. Report of maintenance issue was not resolved during stay. I purchased thru bookings.com for $165 per night, however when I got to the hotel the price was $205. I really can't think of anything that I didn't like. It's very pleasant and in the heart of everything. It's a great value. No outside window in my room on the first floor. Parking facilities; but the staff was very helpfull to help find a parking spot. Limited free parking, but staff were helpful to suggest local parking space. breakfast. The initial,room was so small and so hot it was not fit for humans. It is a boutique hotel and rather dated.
