This is an awesome little gem if you are looking to stay in the ritzy
part of San Juan (Condado Beach). We arrived almost midnight, but the
front desk left us keys to get into the house and the room in a
specified area. The keys came with a note with instructions and contact
information if we needed help, just make sure you call a day or 2 before
you arrive to make arraingements. What my husband and I look for in a
place are clean sheets, good a/c, and working toilet; which it had

Launchy was Very accommodating, had ac prepped for us on arrival. Did
not need it the second day. (After acclimating to temperature) had
private door to balcony and had the ocean air breeze. Coming in. The
Balcony overlooked the sea. And could sit there all day or night long.
Or sleep right on balcony. Smooth Jazz Music could be heard from the
restaurant near by, but ocean waves were louder. Launchy recommended
nearby places. When asked. We borrowed a handbook from the library on
the island act.
We were given Room 4 which was outside at the rear of the property with full access to the sun terrace and kitchen. Free tea, coffee and milk with full use of all facilities in the kitchen as well as having a fridge, microwave and sink in the room. The hotel is right on Condado Beach and was an ideal hotel for me. Small, locally owned and fit for purpose without overly pretentious ideas. The reception we got was first class and I felt like I was staying with relatives, I was made to feel so wel.
Aleli by the Sea was a clean perfect, beautiful spot for the money. The staff were very friendly, turned on the AC so it was comfortable in the room when we got there, called cabs when needed and even gave me a spot of some rum while I was waiting for a cab to the airport. The deck is quiet and sits beautifully right on the ocean. The location sits right in the mix of the Condado and is close to everything. Among other great spots very near by is an open air contemporary restaurant/bar that sit.
Aleli's has everything you would need: immediate access to the beach (which is almost private because there is almost no one!), the sound of waves and seaside view in your room, big rooms with a comfortable bed and clean sheats, clean bathroom with daily fresh towels. The shared kitchen gives you the opportunity to make coffee, breakfast or cook dinner, which you can enjoy on the shared sun terrace! The lady at the reception is very helpfull and sweet :) I would come back here, and not to any o.
We stayed 4 nights and had a wonderful time here. Manager was very kind and helped us with just about everything. Rooms were clean. Patio overlooking beach is awesome. This guesthouse is very safe and comfortable. If you are put off by big hotels and resorts, Aleli is the place for you!
We stayed in room #4 which is the only room with direct patio access. It features 2 double beds, a fridge, microwave and TV.
We recommend this guesthouse and would definitely stay here again!.
First of all.... Ms Launchy thank you so much for being the Mothering
figure I needed vsiting Puerto Rico. This Lady showed me all the inside
scoops on how to enjoy the resort area of Conando. Yes folks stay at the
marriot or laconca for 3 bills , need to get in an elevator 10 times
aday,,,even to go to the beach.... But at alei had to walk 75 feet...no
elevator... And was swimming in the ocean before my friends who stayed
at the laconch even got an elevator.
We enjoyed the sea side room, the friendly and helpful staff, the location was great, it was reasonably priced. I loved the deck overlooking the ocean, and hearing the surf all night. There were lots of restaurants close by, it was easy to get to Old Town by cab or bus. It wasn't too far from the airport.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They let us check in an hour early and told us about good locations to shop and eat. The guest house is located right on the beach, in a few short steps you will be hitting the waves. This place was small, but it felt like home. :).
The Lady of the House was just wonderful, greeting us with a smile and friendly, helpful all the way.
You are right on a beautiful beach in the middle of Condado with shopping, dining and nice parks around you.
This is not luxury, but just a very good deal for your money.
The staff was exceptionally pleasant and helpful. The other guests were frequent flyers with multiple visits to Aleli by the Sea. Location, Location, Location. Waking up at 4:00 AM, I watched a cruise ship sail by from my bedroom window. Fantastic!.
The manager Lanchi was great. She was very nice and helpful with any questions we had. We couldn't beat the price and location. It was helpful to have a kitchen we could use. We would definately stay there again.
The guest house was quaint, right on the ocean. It was quiet and out of the main stream of Condado. Big highrises on both sides, which helped maintain the peacefulness. A little piece of heaven on the ocean.
The owner is friendly and helpful. Good clean budget accommodation along the best part of the beach.

Th elderly female manager was excellent. She was a great source of information as well as various sundries left by other visitors.

Our seaside bathroom was small but other rooms had bathrooms rooms that
were bigger. But no ocean view.

There was really nothing we didn't like, other people should realize it is not a 5 star hotel, but is was clean, beds were comfortable, the kitchen was available to us.

no air conditioning in communal areas of building. when flushing toilet in upstairs room, sewage spurted out of shower drain. bathroom sink would take a half hour to drain if you put water in sink. very small bathroom, barely big enough to accomodate fixtures.
