  Beautiful grounds and a setting with an ambience of the old Hawaii. The restaurant is excellent. We have been to Maui many times but had not been to Hana. We booked the Travaasa Hana for one night because it was the one nice hotel available. After arrival, we decided to extend another night and that made the experience really special.   Meeting with people from all over the globe. 99% friendly, cant get lonely here when traveling alone. Everyone is included. Superb location in Waikiki. literally a 2 minute walk to the beach. Paid parking nearby if needed and free parking if you can find it within a few blocks. Easy access to public transportation to get out of the city. But then, hostels and the global traveli - I stayed 5 nights at the hostel and it was great! Roommates are from different places of the world and most of them are very friendly and I made a lot of friends there. It was October and not so noisy as I expected in the night, which was good, and it was fairly convenient and economic for a backpacker to stay. Mostly importantly, the location was extremely good and it was just a couple of minutes to the beach.

  We liked the price and that the rooms were spacious. We loved having two balconies and that the room had dishes and a kitchen if we wanted to cook. The location was close to the strip and trolley stop right in front of the door. There was also a convenient ABC in the lobby. The rooms were clean [very important], we had a corner room that had 2 ac units, and the there were multiple electrical outlets for charging our various electronic devices.   The Seaside Hotel was perfect for my stay in Waikiki. The room may be small for some, but the size was fine for me. The pictures are true to what you get. There are not a whole lot of extra amenities but I was only there to shower and sleep. The bed was comfortable and thank goodness for the a/c during the humid week I was there.   The service upon check in was great! The room I stayed in was nice and very clean! It had everything I needed! Loved the staff! I did meet the owners of the property, Dela and Terry!
