  We stayed in the house across the street. The owner was extremely helpful. He had made out in advance a detailed map of all of the attractions of Fairbanks and surrounding areas. They stocked the fridge with a huge variety of breakfast items so that we could make what we wanted, when we wanted.   Everything. Jan and Ela are such a wonderful couple who make you feel like home. They really take care of your during your stay at Gustavus. They picked us at the airport when we arrived, they gave us great tips about the area, they prepared a delicious dinner and an energetic breakfast (this last one is included in the room price). We definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Gustavus. - Our flight was delayed and we couldn't get to our campground before the last orientation (required to stay at the campground). So we booked whatever room available as soon as we landed in Gustavus. They called us immediately asking if we needed a shuttle and provided a ride for us to the campground the next morning. Everyone was extremely nice, the bed we had was very comfortable and the breakfast they offered was delicious.
