The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They loaned us bicycles to get around and offered to drive us where we needed. The Mrs got up extra early to cook an excellent breakfast before we got the train. There are excellent resterants nearby.

Everything. Jan and Ela are such a wonderful couple who make you feel like home. They really take care of your during your stay at Gustavus. They picked us at the airport when we arrived, they gave us great tips about the area, they prepared a delicious dinner and an energetic breakfast (this last one is included in the room price). Our flight was delayed and we couldn't get to our campground before the last orientation (required to stay at the campground). So we booked whatever room available as soon as we landed in Gustavus. They called us immediately asking if we needed a shuttle and provided a ride for us to the campground the next morning. Everyone was extremely nice, the bed we had was very comfortable and the breakfast they offered was delicious.

Staff is friendly and accommodating. Its right out side of Talkeetna, so you can go to that neat city easily. -

Breakfast was wonderful each and every day---ice cream in the evening was also truly appreciated.

Really enjoyed my 10 nights here fornteh aurora. Hotel was very comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. I chose this nHotel on the outskirts of town, formteh aurora, it had darker skies, and I saw them quite a few times!! There is a busstop out fron, but be aware that minimal to no service at weekends. -

Everyone at the hotel was really nice. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the rooms were. They will also pay for your taxi to and from the airport which is a nice bonus! -

My kids loved the swimming pool, even though it was freezing cold! The
hot tub was very nice. One of our two rooms (King suite) was very nicely
arranged. The staff were really nice and helpful. -

this motel was a pleasure to stay in, we were in one of the end rooms but the room and facilities made up for the lengthy walk to reception. The staff were great and the shuttle too and from town and the airport was great. Food in the restaurant was amazing and reasonably priced. The lobby was a great place to relax and take in the wall art. -

Location beside the lake with all the personal ski-planes provided good visual entertainment. The Deck restaurant was good value for money with friendly staff, a good entertainer and it was a beautiful sunny evening. My experience in this hotel was very enjoyable and I would stay there again on my next trip.

The staff were friendly & the hotel was quiet & clean. The beds were very comfortable & the hotel was well appointed. The location was close to the airport but slightly out of town. Free shuttles are available from the hotel on demand, so the location out if town is not a problem. -
