We love this hotel! Have been there many times. Nice, friendly staff, always wonderful seasonal decorations in lobby, cozy library and fantastic fireplace!Tasty breakfast (pancakes!!!). Great location for X-country skiing. Beautiful, historic hotel up i the mountains, beautiful scenery and a lovely breakfast over looking the golf course, stream and mnts. great value for the price. clean rooms and bathrooms, nice rustic charm. 10 minutes from mt. washington auto road and hiking trails.
所有评语 » Loved the historic charm. It felt like we were staying at Grandma's turn of the century house. Our room was great. Overall great experience. Food was superb. Great area for skiiing and snowshoeing. Hotel has a lot of character!!. The room and bathroom was spotless. Very nice place to stay. Will be coming back again. It is on the register of historic inns. The rocking chairs on the porch were a big hit. We loved every minute of our stay! Beautiful location, great food and friendly staff. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous. Also the waitress in the restaurant was rattled at breakfast the day we were leaving. She wasn't prepared by herself with the number of customers and we ended up eating elsewhere. Hot tub needed cleaning and sauna did not work. the bed was painfully hard (and I do not have a bad back!!). They offered a buffet breakfast and could not order ala carte. Our waitress the one night we ate in the restaurant on the premises appeared to be on some drugs or something as she was totally and completely hyped, somewhat wrecking a quiet, romantic dinner at the end of a day of gorgeous outdoor fun and frolic... The sofa bed was not very comfortable and the hot tub wasn't working. Only minor criticism was noise of generator (or pump) when sitting on veranda. price. Television was small and the bed was small. No deck on room, but it is an old historic hotel, so we understand the limitations. Nothing. The lifti. Had to argue to get a drink in a glass, rather than plastic cup at the bar, restaurant was expensive and poor, hotel very much relies on its location but disappoints where service is concerned. Would be nice if they could keep nostalgic feeling while implementing a few more modern convieniences. Run down and not kept up.
