very Friendly and helpful staff made me feel special. And the very nice Suite had everything I needed. Made me want to stay longer to thoroughly enjoy the room especially the Bed!! and Breakfast was very nice as well. If I were going to Dallas and area this would be a really good choice for me and I will recommend this hotel to others. The staff on duty was totally courteous and helpful. I made the reservation last minute because my plane was cancelled and I was rebooked requiring staying the night in Dallas. The hotel was quite accommodating and was even willing to send out a courtesy van at 10:30 PM.
所有评语 » I was overnighting with a short stay but the staff were very accommodating and the shuttle driver offered to stop for me to pick up food if I wished ,thoughtful.The room was clean and comfortable and I would definitely stay here again. I liked the room that we stayed in because we had two queen sized beds. The decor is nice along with the layout of the room. The breakfast was really good as well. The front staff were friendly and courteous. Nice large room. For older place, not bad. The staff tried very hard to makeup for a person that had left work and caused a late pickup at the airport. Staff is great. Willing to help in any way they can. Rooms are a great size. This was my second time staying there and plan on returning my next trip. The staff went out of their way to provide as pleasant and a comfortable stay as I have experienced in a long time. Very professional and courteous. Close to airport (DFW). Very helpful staff. Provided transport to and from nearby restaurants. Large, comfortable rooms. Very reasonable price. I like that the sink and counter were outside of the restroom. I was alone this time, but when I do travel with others, this is a nice feature. I enjoyed the friendly staff. The room was clean . The breakfast was a surprise so much to choose from. Not just a continental breakfast. Erica and Varun are excellent staff at the front desk, providing outstanding customer service. Great hotel, clean, efficient. Room was roomy and clean. Good time of rest during a conference I went to in the area and location was convenient for me. Room was very nice, clean, large. There was a very nice full breakfast during the morning. I guess there were little things needing repair.. some chipped paint... no restaurants within walking distance but the folks offered to take me to the local corner store :). I did not like the enormous cockroach in my room. As well, the television is too small. Breakfast not impressive. Next to airport so can be noisy but come to expect that when I booked it. There wasn't anything negative that I would make a comment on. No restaurant within walking distance so we had lengthy wait for shuttles (which were also picking up persons at airport). Inside the restroom was very dark. There was one light and it was not bright at all!! They need either a higher wattage bulb or a differen fixture cover. Breakfast options are fine, but offer more fresh fruit. The entrance and lobby had much to be desired, but the room was fine. I had no problems at all. Room was a bit dark. As an airport hotel, it shows a few signs of hard use and wear and tear. - booking could have included to contact hotel on arrival for pickup - being near an international airport, and bank machine that takes international Debit cards should be a must! On the night in question I needed a long cold walk, but otherwise it would have been a real burden to walk so far at night to get some US$!. There were no negatives. No smoking rooms availible. I chose hotel and paid extra for the pool and it was closed. I live in mn and wanted to lay in the sun. Very disappointing. You should disclose when the pool is open on your website. It was 80 when I was there. I booked this because it advertised a fitness room. The room was way too hot to exercise in and the equipment was not working properly. I was there two days and was a bit disappointed in it. Choice of nearby restaurants, but it was adequate. I added a note that I would be on a late night flight. When I arrived at the hotel, I was told that my reservation had been released at 6 P. M! My sister and I had to settle for a single queen sized bed. No restaurant on site or within walking distance. 1. Onsite check-in wait time was excessive. 2. My confirmed reservation was not in hotel's system. 3. Front desk was understaffed. Spa was not working, pool area a bit shabby. Had problems with both the AC thermostat AND the HOT water in the bathroom lavatory... Had to ask twice to get a receipt. One not under door as promised. Currently my bank account shows charge to be $20 more than the receipt I got from Hawthorn. Not enough light in the room. No lamp or overhead light in the sitting area. Not an issue this time, but would like ceiling fans in Texas rooms. Stayed at this hotel in August with a friend and could not get room comfortable, esp in middle of night. Most Texans have ceiling fans in every room. The breakfast was served entirely in throwaway bowls, plates, cups and even the cutlery was plastic. Have you ever tried to butter a piece of toast using a bendy plastic knife. It would have been nice to have metal cutlery and china plates and bowls. A kettle in the rooms would also be appreciated - not everyone drinks coffee.... Grounds dirty, room and facility cheap below par construction. no malls near no restauratnt. what I paid did not include parking. I had to pay full price upon getting there which cost me another $45. I'll never use this booking again. If you don't have a car it is too remote, disappointed that there is no bar or restaurant within walking distance. Beds were a little uncomfortable Not a lot of amenities. The back of the hotel faces a parking deck and the drapes are unable to be closed in the room leaving your room open to anyone on the deck to look in. The same issue with the drapes also contributes to a problem where there is a parking lot light that shines into the room all night long. Simple fix, change the drape rods out so the heavy drapes can be close over the sheers. The room phone did not work, repeated requests to fix it drew blank looks. A laundry service was advertised with a bag and price list in the room.After two days of enquiring, the clerk informed me that this only relates to dry cleaning, when the price list clearly indicates prices for both laundry and dry cleaning. The room was in disrepair - our bathroom light over the mirror did not work as well as the outlet between the beds. And our room did not get cleaned one of the days we stayed. Had difficulty in finding my reservation. Free happy hour consisted of cold finger food, chips and nuts and a few cans of beer and soft drinks. Staff could not speak English. Put us in a standard room instead of a king as reserved. Only two towels provided that we're thin and rough. Pillows and mattress were uncomfortable. Not worth the rate charged. Lamp in room did not work Coffee was cold Happy hour was one beer in the frig... Workout equip was old. Smell in lobby. Elevator too small for this size facility. (and only one) Room furnishings very spartan. Bulbs out in room. Ran out of hot water at 8am. The hotel had a distint smell of cleaning fluids. Breakfest buffet hot dishes were not hot.
