  We liked the comfort of the beds, the room cleanliness, and the staff was very nice and accomodating. Plus they paid attention to our special instructions before we got there. The location was excellent for those wanting to be close to downtown Gaitlinburg and to Dollywood.   I liked everything. The room was spacious, clean and was right on a river. It was also right behind the parkway where there was plenty of shopping and places to eat. It is also right behind all the Ripley's attractions and next door to the Ripley's Aquarium. I just recommend calling the hotel to make sure you are getting - I enjoyed the fact that they had given us an upgrade on our reservation. My fiancé and I loved the proximity to Gatlinburg's main strip and that we weren't forced to pay for parking. Everything was within walking distance from the hotel. Even though we stayed during the weekend, we felt that we had our privacy and didn't notice any commotion. We will definitely come back to River Terrace.

  I chose your hotel because of the fireplace and balcony. We LOVED sitting around the fireplace drinking coffee while admiring the fall colors through balcony glass door.   Loved the location and the fact that we were in the mountains. The location was great--just a few miles outside of Gatlinburg and not very far to all the sites and attractions of Pigeon Forge and Dollywood. We also like that when we decide to come back we can also bring our daughter & she will be occupied with activities to do for her own age. Beautiful place, loved it, can't wait to come back!
