We had the two room suite. Very comfortable. Tv handy for people who like to watch sport! 2 bathrooms most welcome. Two balconies for people watching. Fridge very welcome. Good linen on beds. Cosy fireplace. Cookies on arrival nice touch. Big bonus was underground parking as it's hard in Carmel. Excellent location in a quiet area of the main street. The manager suggested we have a tray of breakfast the night before when we had an early start. We would re-visit. Carmel is a gorgeous place; a lit.
所有评语 » Me and my lady wanted to take a romantic. Adobe inn more than exceeded my expectation. The staff was very accommodating. We stayed for two days, the room we had was nice but didnt have a view of the ocean the first day. We came back from a walk from the oceab and noticed some ocean view rooms were vacant, Sergio( one of the managers) let us change rooms for the second day!! No one does that!! I WILL BE GOING BACK! Thanks Adobe inn for making my stay a very memorable one. Oh yeah and me and my l. I loved everything about Adobe Inn. In a small town like Carmel, parking can be hit or miss - - we really loved the underground parking garage. ** Also, the staff upgraded our room to a suite when our King room that we reserved was a room with 2 queen beds. The suite had a balcony in the front and back with ocean view!. The staff at Adobe were fantastic. Friendly and responsive to requests. You felt instantly at home when you got to the room which was a good size, had a lovely balcony looking towards the ocean and to top it all a roaring log fire. Centrally located for the middle of Carmel. We had a large, comfortable room on a quiet street within walking distance of restaurants, shops and the beach. The room had a fireplace and good light for reading. There was plenty of closet and drawer space to settle in. Staff was very helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the birthday welcome basket with fruits and cookies was very nice. The included basic breakfast with juice and cereal, or. Muffins was very nice, too. Location was great to the shops and beach in Carmel. We had a lovely, large room at this hotel. Even had a bit of an ocean view and small patio. Very nice breakfast. Yes, the furniture is a bit dated as noted in other reviews but overall a very lovely place to stay in a great location. The location was superb. It was in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea on a street filled with shops, wine bars, and restaurants, walkable to everything. Parking was included! The room was very large. the facilities were excellent, the hotel was clean and comfortable and very close to the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again if it was a special occassion. The room was beautiful and spacious. Breakfast was really nice. It was a stroll to the beach and also very close to restaurants and shops. Filter coffee not good (a matter of taste; we prefer espresso) and for Brits a kettle would be appreciated (we took our own) as the coffee maker doesn't give you boiling water. Nowhere to hang wet towels. Swimming pool far too small. It's a splash pool only and may be handy after a boiling hot day in summer. Very nice place and helpful staff. The only complaint I have is that breakfast couldn't be served before 8:30. I had a conference in Monterey and needed to be there by 8:30, so we were unable to enjoy the continental breakfast. There was an irritating high beeee sound outside near the inn so we had to close the sliding door and windows. Not a thing. Construction across the street - which will be going on for some time - made it noisy. The faucet fixtures needed fixing (reported). The price was very expensive although the hotel was beautiful, I did think it was overpriced, however, Carmel appears to be a very expensive place and the meal we had outside of the hotel was overpriced. The breakfast was also sparse but lovely. The hotel is 4 blocks from the beach, walking to it is fine but its a steep walk uphill back to carmel. On the first night the heating was noisy in the night. The room was a bit dated and the fixtures were generic. Not sure if the heat worked. Breakfast was continental and nothing special. Does not apply. Room furnishings were somewhat dated. Took a while for the hot water to heat up and the bathroom was chilly. The only suggestion that I would have is that it would be nice to have a small microwave in the room. Girl at reception was bafflingly unfriendly for some reason!. Was told free wifi, which they did have but our computer could not access the wifi. Hotel did try to help us but it never worked. The tv was in a awkward position so hard to watch while in bed. Older building - some updates could be made. A bit noisy from other room In hot weather lack of air con will be a problem Wifi a bit unreliable. Breakfast was not quite enough . Staff leaves at 10, leaving the place unattended. Soap bars are reminiscent of a motel 8. The extras on bathroom toiletries could be upgraded. an ordered breakfast never came one morning but they deeply apologized and the next morning we had a credit and breakfast in a timely manner. The carpet was dirty but everything else was very clean. No laundry service. Nothing. Solid wall on balcony. Carpeting throughout inc balcony. The grounds could be better maintained (cement coming off of steps, etc). The fireplace did not work properly. lack of water pressure in the shower. nothing. Nothing really. Nothing. breakfast was somehow a joke all as room service: for two adults some granola, some cornflakes, orange juice and some fruits, yeeeaaah.
