  Really enjoyed our stay. The reception staff were very friendly and check-in was very easy. The room was lovely and had everything we needed. Ideal Hotel for Cardiff Central Train & Bus station as only a very short walk with luggage. Very easy to collect luggage and again short walk to Train/Bus station. It is also only a short walk away from the Motor point arena & main - Staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly. Rooms are well appointed with everything you need. TV with loads of channels, tea/coffee, iron, hair-dryer, alarm clock and phone. Bathrooms usually have bath with shower over but I have had a room with just the shower which is fine for me. Towels are really big and fluffy which earns brownie points from me. Bar area is comfy and bar staff lovely. Had lunch here which was very tasty altho a bit pricey for a sandwich I only used restaurant for breakfast

The hotel was in an excellent position for ease of getting to Motorpoint Arena, which was just across the r - As we walked in the young lady on the reception was very polite and helpful the position of the hotel was excellent there is no parking but we parked in the st davids centre directly opposite the hotel and were there for 20hrs and it only cost £11 if you dont want to take your car the train station is only a 5 minute walk the room was really nice and facilities were very good already planing another stay at the ibis would reccomend value for money especially as it was only a 2 minute walk into
