  Exceeded my expectations, the room was large with lots of free space as was my en-suite. The breakfast selection was amongst the best I have ever had, can you believe they even make their own bread and yogurt! Both of which were simply delicious. Location very close to high street shopping and easy to get to main rail station although a hit far with suitcases, but okay with a backpack. Easy taxi ride. Good pub atmosphere on ground floor

We also had a river view room for both nights when we were originally booked to have a non river view for one night and a river view for the other. We only had to pay the price for the originally booking. We particularly liked the Galleon Bar, lovely decor etc and the food was delicious.

We had a room A/C in our room. We seemed to be the only room with one, and it made the temps ok.
