I liked the staff they wereincredibly friendly and couldnt do enough to help us. They let us use iron and ironing board to iron a creased shirt ready for our party they showed us a map of where we was and where we needed to be. I was very impressed with the breakfast it was very welcoming and we couldhave just what we wanted. The staff were lovely and helped make it a lovely weekend. Great location. Parked here and walked to Aquarium, Sutton Harbor, Barbican, Plymouth Hoe, etc. Price is good and rooms are typical Premier Inn quality (we slept 4 to a room and it didn't leave a lot of space, but our goal wasn't to spend time inside.) We had a room A/C in our room. We seemed to be the only room with one, and it made the temps ok.

The Free Parking and the fact that they took notice of my request for a quiet room. The room was very comfortable. This hotel is also within easy walking distance of the Barbican and would be very suitable as a base for a 1-3 night stay. clean and beautiful bedding, towels, beds. restaurant on site with incredible breakfasts and good evening meals. First time in a premier Inn- as good as any hotel we have ever stayed in!. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly when we arrived. The hotel is a short walk from a large selection of pubs and restaurants and our room had a lovely view over the marina. The staff were very professional, friendly and made our stay welcoming. The bar/restaurant offered comfort, style and a good ambience. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. From the start all of the staff were friendly and helpful. This inn had a restaurant and bar, good choices of menu. Room absolutely spotlessly clean. I would stay here again. Nice friendly staff, lovely breakfast and a fantastic location for night life and restaraunts on the Barbican!! a good mix of business with pleasure i'd say!!. central to the shopping area. close to many of the tourist facilities. the staff from the reception to the restaurant extremely efficient & friendly. the room was clean & well laid out the staff were helpful & polite the service at breakfast was very good as was the food & plenty of it. size and comfort of the room. Everything was clean and well presented. Even though the room was a bit on the warm side, I would still go back again. I booked for a big group of people and we ate in the restaurant, all the staff were brilliant, very helpful and kind. Big thanks to Lora. Quiet area,overlooking Sutton harbour,easy waliking distance to the Barbican,the Hoe and city shops. Staff were welcoming and efficient. Better in most respects than many so called four star hotels. very good parking arrangements, we could leave the car and walk to the City centre and take in the harbour area as well. itwas close to plymouth a lovely walk the staff were helpful and very friendly breakfast was excellant would stay again. The beds were really comfortable and clean and the bathroom facilities are very clean, the shower was exceptional. The room was very well laid out, nicely decorated and spacious. It`s position close to shops restaurants and sea. The squeaky noisy lift , I was a little scary thought it was going to stop mid flight.!! (But it never!). Family rooms were all on the 1rst floor (there are views of the harbor higher up). nothing!. There was only one set of towels. The noise during the night from other guests. The fact that all smokers stood outside our room window again late in the night. A separate area should be dedicated to smoks away from the hotel. The bed though firm was a bit uncomfortable for me. the bed was a bit hard & sank in the middle. The room was too warm, and there wasn't really much control over the temperature. Air con would have been better. Room too hot - would have loved air-conditioning Not enough parking Would have liked softer mattress. Hard, hard beds. Please, a little softer next time. Not enough room to sit in the evenings, as we were there for three nights had to speend it in our room! Talking about the rooms they are comfortable and clean but my goodness they are too hot at night, the thermostate did not work so we could not turn the heat down. Quite a few people were complaining about it. Sutton Harbour has an ongoing problem with overheated rooms. Staff do their best to mitigate this but in the long term something must be done. room backed on to the road where late night party goers passed by talking load or singing. nothing. Nothing. A slight delay on checking in which could have been a fair deal faster. As with all previous reviews, the whole place was way too hot! Two fans in our room going all night didn't keep the temperature below 28 degrees & we were on the ground floor!. We paid for breakfast on booking but were told only 1 adult could eat the next day - we left the hotel immediately and none of us had breakfast. NOT HAPPY. Noise from road late at night. Rump steak was tough, breakfast ok but been better in Premier Inns elsewhere. We were on the ground floor next to the main road and it was rather noisy into the early hours of the morning, as it was a Friday night and quite a few groups of loud, drunk people were passing our bedroom window, hanging about a bit as well .. it went on until well past 2am, which wasn't condusive to much sleep. prices in the bar !. room was very very hot. No air con. Nothing. Thought that the reception area and the stairways could have been tidier than they were. Did not think it was good to walk past a bed mattress at the bottom of the stairs. The air conditioning units in the rooms are pre-set to certain levels and caould not be changed. Noisy drunks passing outside all through the night. Someone else (not in my party) found the bread for toasting to be mouldy. Shortage of parking spaces. There was a heat wave during our stay. No air conditioning, so our room was an oven. The staff couldn't do anything about it. In combination with that, you can't open the window more than 5 inches, so you can't even let the cool air in when there is some. Small TV in room Doors in rooms slam shut quite loudly if you dont close them carefully. Bar area very noisy in the evening and rooms too hot. No air-conditioning in the room. Not much pressure in the shower. Room was a bit hot at 27c!. beds have changed from earlier stays at Premier Inns. Firmer not as comfortable!. A little bit cheaper would be a bonus.
