  The skill of the staff was immediately apparent as we arrived and our suitcases were quickly delivered to our room without fuss whilst we checked in. Our room was very comfortable a - This is a quintessential 'little' Cornish Hotel, few have survived the ravages of recession and poor summers, but this is well run. It has a fabulous location close to Port Isaac, but away from the 'trippers' that you tend to get there. The staff are lovely and the management could not be more helpful. Walks from here are endless and varied, if you like the rugged Cornish coast this is a 'must'.

  Beautiful building. We had a lovely room in the main building with a great view. Rooms and beds are very comfortable. Facilities for our 23 month old were excellent including childens tea which made being away with a little one very easy. We didn't use the crèche but would have done if we'd stayed longer. Overall our stay was amazing in this beautiful former Hanson mansion. Still maintaining it's character and 19th century charm. We will definitely visit again.
