Boscastle itself still retains its character, history and natural beauty whilst m - From the moment we arrived, we were looked after really well by attentive staff. They took us to our room, carried luggage, explained the wifi and advised about booking a table in the restaurant. The restaurant was lovely, and though we thought we'd eat elsewhere at least once, we ended up eating at the Riverside every single day. The menu is great and varied, and the food is of high quality. Something for everyone.

  We were welcomed with a cup of tea and biscuits after a long journey down from London. We loved the 'honour' bar system in the evening. The breakfast was delicious - all home made or local food. Beautiful view across the valley. The room was great - clean and very comfortable. The place was very quiet at night.   We were made to feel very much at home in this beautiful house. Everywhere you look there is something interesting which has been chosen and placed with an artist's eye for detail.   If you want a formal 4/5 star environment, don't come to Lower Barn! It is informal, very friendly, eclectic in design and appearance - you could say "quirky" - and that isn't pejorative. Read the description of the place and the rooms, what you read i - When we arived, everybody was so nice. (and the stayed nice all the time!) Our chamber was like a little house and we had a tv with some nice dvd's, so we could watch a movie (or two). The colors in the room were fantastic! Every little thing was designed and it was beautiful. We had dinner at the bed and breakfast. That was amazing! There was also an hot tub. lovely!
