  lovely hotel with exceptionally friendly helpful staff.Position close to beach in a nice quiet spot no road noise whatsoever. Room was big and breakfast was plentiful - everything, excellent stay, great surroundings, good food, friendly staff, very clean and reasonably priced.Plenty of sight seeing to do.

  We were made to feel so welcome, the room was excellent and thebreakfast even better. We had no problem useing our card to pay andfound no problem with parking - I travel a lot for work and chellowdene was one of the best guest houses by far friendly, clean and a great breakfast. i found no problem parking

  The location of the hotel although being outside the main centre of newquay was ideal as Tolcarne beach was on the doorstep. On arrival we were allocated room 9 which is probably the pick of all the rooms due to the lovely balcony overlooking Tolcarne Beach. The hotel is spotless, as are the rooms with soft clean white towels and comfy beds.   The Hotel is within walking distance of the centre of the town, but far enough out to be quiet. I enjoyed my first stay there so much, Ive revisited 3 years in a row. Although I havent made use of all the facilities, they do have their own laundry, indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
