  The room was lovely and the service was excellent. Since we were exploring the area around Selkirk and had only one day, we did not have time to hunt for restaurants.   We had a most enjoyable stay at this chic most delightful hotel. The spanish guy who checked us in was very chic too and most professional. We had a king size room which had lots of space and a very comfortable bed. We had a very nice dinner in the bar with a large choice on the menu and breakfast the following morning in the restaurant and bistro - I have stayed here a number of times on business. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and are beautifully decorated. The bathroom suites are 'old fashioned' but all coordinate with each bedrooms colour scheme. I personally think it works really well. Having stayed in 5 different rooms so far, I was always intrigued to see the style of each room! The dinner menu is very affordable...try the Buccleuch burger...it is delicious. Final dinner orders are taken at 9pm but the kitchen is very flex
