  Warm and comfortable with everything we could want. Stayed in Silverdale which was large with a gorgeous bathroom and comfortable bed. Great choice for breakfast. - Friendly atmosphere created by the staff and excellent servicethroughout. Rooms are very spacious and have recently been decorated toa high standard.

  We had simply the best time here. A supremely comfortable room, in which we had our best two nights sleep of our whole holiday. The Derby Arms offers a full and delicous menu, fine wine, great beer, friendly people, historic bar surroundings with lots to look at. Lovely countryside to walk around. The property is within walking distance to an excellent pub in town. We were here for 2 nights and enjoyed it very much. The couple who own the property also board rescue dogs...the dogs are very friendly too. As mentioned in another recommendation, they allow dogs, but you would not know it. The rooms were
