  We loved Dave - he's hilarious although not always intentionally - very, very nice man, friendly, helpful & accommodating. Breakfast was really good and didn't cost any extra, room was pretty decent, lots of tea & coffee etc. good location, comfy beds - couldn't really fault anything.   Warm welcome and friendliness, nothing too much trouble. We were kindly given an early breakfast as as I was competing in the Great North Swim (by the way, Jenny and Stuart, if you read this, it went really well and the water wasn't too cold at all!) and it was no problem at all for us to bring a take-away back to the B&B the night before; in ... 别人怎么说 » fact, a table was kindly laid for us to eat it in the conservatory. Breakfast choice and quality was excellent. Also nice to be able to book a single - This is a very nice place to stay for sure. There are some very nice touches such as the sherry in the room for guests. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. The property is within walking distance to an excellent pub in town. We were here for 2 nights and enjoyed it very much. The couple who own the property also board rescue dogs...the dogs are very friendly too. As mentioned in another recommendation, they allow dogs, but you would not know it. The rooms were

  Great welcome, excellent host and hostess and superb breakfast. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was wonderful - a great nights sleep was had.
