  From the moment I walked through the door I like it. I was greeted with a smile and dealt with right away. My room (lilac room) was excellent, lovely views, comfy bed.....very relaxing. The food in the restaurant was beautiful and the service was just fantastic. The hotel was 10 out of 10 but to be honest it was the staff that impressed me most.   On arrival the man on reception was extreamly welcoming and thought the weekend all staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel had a lovely warm cosy feel which the extended into the room.   The hotel has a new General Manager and I can't believe the change in such a short time...We've been before and its been good value for money but this time staff were really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We really enjoyed our stay there and will definitely be going back. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast and dinner were bothexcellent especially the breakfast, especially breakfast which was outstanding. The pool and leisure facilities were also excellent and kept very clean. We are certainly planning a return visit in the near future.
