the staff on the reception desk on both occasions (unfortunately I cant remember their names) couldn't be more helpful. they were friendly and very professional and definitely made our stay more enjoyable. the staff in the pub/restaurant were also very nice, welcoming and helpful. Next to the motorway that takes you down to Durham, excellent. Very nice breakfast served in a pub nearby. Dinners there are also really good, nice and friendly atmosphere.

The room was comfortable,and the staff were helpful and friendly. We got good evening meal at the adjoining grill and a good quality breakfast. We enjoyed our stay ,our bedroom was clean,spacious,and the beds were the most comfortable we have ever stayed in,including 5* hotels. The hotel was what you would expect -the meal in the adjacent restaurant was very good, The staff were friendly -. Very friendly and helpful staff. Location was excellent for where we needed to visit Clean and spacious rooms. Very clean. Comfortable. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Staff and service were excellent. Good breakfast in the adjoining pub. Location for Beamish was excellent. Choice of breakfast - outstanding!. Handy location, value for money. Clean and modern. Very friendly staff. Staff were very helpful, iced water in reception, and fans in room. Food in resturant was excellant. Clean & comfortable room. neat clean and tidy.big bed if a little on firm side though preferable to soft. Friendly staff and good breakfast though toaster broke down. the restaurant and frer parking. comfortable and clean. Clean, spacious room. The gentleman on reception was helpful. no air conditioning in the rooms, with 4 people in a small room it was unbareable, either that or have bigger family rooms. Difficult to find, perhaps. Placed in the middle of an industrial estate a bit hidden from sight even with a GPS. To make things more confusing they've built another Premiere Inn just the roundabout before and the GPS takes you there for some reason. Nothing to dislike. There was no Air Con and we all had a very uncomfortable night due to the heat we had a fan but it didn't help much. and we found it a lot more expensive, pretty rowdy also due to the other guests going for the nightlife in Newcastle. usually we are impressed with the premier Inns but this wasn't as good as our previous trips to other Premiers. Early hours of the morning we were disturbed by a party of young women, who were celebrating a 21st. They were shouting and woke us up. We couldn't stay longer!. Nothing!. As we stayed when very hot, no air conditioning but staff did there best to be helpful. Hard to find and car parking difficult. Breakfast. Short timing from 7-9 only. Tea was cold. Hot food had to be ordered separately. Overall not worth the money. im afraid my booking with you wasn't very good as I booked a family room for two adults and two children, when we arrived they only had a booking for one personand so the beds weren't made and you only booked one breakfast it was very disappointing, the hotel rectified everything efficiently so it was the fault of your booking. noisy road. Booked family room but staff had to make up beds for the children after we arrived The towels were torn. Most disappointing was the attached pub food in the evening was dry and re heated. the air condiition was out of order. no lift. Being asked at check in for my passport or photo driving license??? & Ate twice in the adjoining Waggon Team Pub, neither time was asked if the food was satisfactory, which the 1st is was, the 2nd time i had spare ribs & they were horrible, there were full of little pieces of bone, i should of brought it to the attention of a member of staff but we were rushing. Hottest weather we have had for years and no air conditioning in rooms.Temperature never less than 30*c. - awful hotel - really dated - heard people getting in at 3am, 5am ect, staff didn't do anything about it - really uncomfy beds - dirty bathroom - not worth the money!!!!.
