From the moment I walked through the door I like it. I was greeted with a smile and dealt with right away. My room (lilac room) was excellent, lovely views, comfy bed.....very relaxing. The food in the restaurant was beautiful and the service was just fantastic. The hotel was 10 out of 10 but to be honest it was the staff that impressed me most. I'll definitely be returning here in the future. Thanks.
所有评语 » The room was very pleasant and had a large bay window over looking the hotel grounds. The bed was very comfortable, a good nights sleep. The staff very friendly and attentive. Good choice at breakfast. Unfortunatley did not have evening meal as other arrangements, however resturant was busy. The evening meal was superb. We took the half board package on the double room and were delighted to find it included a half bottle of champagne. The decoration and furnishings in the room were luxurious and the view over the garden was excellent. staff were excellent , location to town ,superb, rooms and bar, and garden ,excellent, quiet at night,i would give the eslington villa hotel ,10/10 even though i have put a few little aggravations, as i say they were minor and we will be back. The laid back efficiency of the staff. The excellent meal which we had on a quiet Sunday evening. I had recommended a change following my last visit to the villa and was delighted that this had been undertaken. Nice location in a quiet environment in Gateshead, near the hills and the countryside. The hotel is cute, large room and bathroom with a good restaurant inside, surrounded by an English garden. The room was of a high standard the meals were good and the welcome we received was worm and inviting .It was very relaxing stay .we would recommend this hotel to friends and family . The staff are so good, friendly and helpful, the breakfast was freshly cooked and was delicious, the room was clean and comfortable with bags of cupboard/drawer space. Friendly, comfortable environment with stylish individually designed rooms. A good place to entertain. We have stayed here many times and intend to do so again. My husband and I stayed for a weekend. The whole experience was wonderful. lovely staff. good food and all in all a very relaxing break. will definitely return. Luxury country style mansion, restaurant has really good food, including one of the best steaks I have ever tasted! Accommodation proved restful and relaxing. From the 1st minute of entering, We had a warm welcome, the staff were very friendly and accomodating, Our stay was was warmly and friendly. The friendly staff and cleanliness and good choice of breakfast and for our purpose, the location was perect. We would stay there again. What's not to like at this Hotel with such charming staff. I always try and stay here when in Newcastle on business. Quaint,comfortable, friendly staff & beautiful meals. Throughly enjoyed our 3 night stay there. 2nd time we stayed there and would go back again! Had Sunday lunch there too and was excellent!. The lighting in the place was generally dismal, I couldn't see to shave in our bathroom. The decor in the dining room is a depressing dark green with relics of a stag shoot hanging from the ceiling. Some details in our rooms were shoddy, broken ceramic tiles, split and dirty sealant around the bath and an unpainted door frame. For a luxury hotel, an old shower curtain on a bath is simply not good enough. food a bit pricey, no control of heating in room, to warm, even with windows open, in the oak room, right above the kitchen, staff emptying bottles into bins late and early morn, these are pinickity little faults i would still stay there in a heart beat,. It was all good. nothing to dislike. Nothing. nothing. Lack of elevators, although can't really expect that in a country style manor. Bedroom we booked (superior) was showing strong signs of a soft furnishings refurb needed i.e. carpet threadbear in some places.It is a shame but I can imagine cost & upkeep of such a property must be nightmare! We would still go back again & hopefully soon. Our room was directly above the front door and needed net curtains. Chairs in the room would have been useful as there was a wedding reception taking place and the lounge was full. No a lot!!!. Difficult to find. The delivery of the evening meal was probably a bit too speedy!. Nothing. On arrival in our room I noticed that someone had been smoking, only a slight smell, but detectable nonetheless. Nothing - that's why I keep coming back!. Nothing, nothing to complain about. There were no dislikes. Bathroom a little scruffy (typical English bathroom). Fire alarm went off BOTH mornings. No decent strong light either in bedroom or bathroom. Could do with new shower heads they flood the bathroom!. Nothing.
