  The Dene Guest House was the perfect choice. Not only I was provided with a clean, spacious and beautifully designed en-suite bedroom with great views but I had as well the valuable help of Ilio and Hamish in every possible aspect (from giving advice on how to spend leisure time to pointing me in the right direction whilst I was looking for a job ... 别人怎么说 » in the city). The owners are extremely friendly yet never intrusive or insistent. I am already planning to go back soon! - Perfect location, close to centre of town. Received a very warm welcome, lovely people running the bed and breakfast in a relaxed, efficient way, they couldn`t have been more helpful. My room was clean, comfortable and had all I needed, the house itself is a beautiful old Edinburgh town house. Fantastic breakfast and I look forward to staying again for my next great night out in the big Toun!

  We loved the apartment. Just big enough for a couple, with a separate living area. Nice big comfortable bed in the bedroom. Free Wi-Fi. Dishwasher and washing machine, microwave, fridge and all the kitchen stuff one may need. Location-wise, it's about a ten-minute walk from Princes Street, with lots of restaurants and pubs in the neighbourhood. You also get 10 to 20% off - We only booked an apartment as we couldn't find a hotel. We were pleasantly surprised with Fountain courts & the equipment , washing machine & dishwasher plus the usual.We found the apartment much more relaxing & we had more freedom about breakfast & dining in.   We travelled by train as it was much cheaper than staying in the centre of Edinburgh. With trains every 30 minutes until late at night the 10 minutes on the train was well worth it with the Hotel just accross the main road from Newcraighall station.
