The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We arrived very early in the morning and they held our bags until we returned at 8pm. They also allowed us to change in the laundry room and even offered us a cup of tea although the restaurant was not yet open. Lovely clean, fresh and comfortable family room. After landing at Gatwick, this was a very handy start for a tour of the South Downs. Taxi from the airport costs 16 pounds and you are in a lush green area. The room was large and very comfortable. This is not your best choice for the airport, but it was ideal for us for a car journey onwards.

Thanku. It was comfortable with plenty of room for myself, my husband and our six-year-old son. It was well located for Gatwick Airport, which was easy to get to. And the Parsons Pig next door was lovely to eat at - and not too expensive. We were staying overnight prior to leaving 4.30 am for Gatwick airport-staff booked taxi and early cal-perfect-no probs.Ate in Parsons Pig(used to be my `local`)evening before with family-excellent-thank you!. We stayed just one night because we had an early flight to catch and this hotel was perfect for us. Great location near to the South Terminal and it was great that we didn't need to pay extra for parking. The staff were all very kind and friendly. Quite welcoming. The hotel itself was very cosy and clean. The pub next door served good food, and their staff were also very friendly. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly, as was the manager of the pub next door. The food was very tasty and not too expensive. the rooms were very good value for money and we would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.Excellant thankyou would stay again. perfect stop off on your way to/from gatwick airport. great restaurant down the road 'The old House' Copthorne. Highly recommend!. The room had a fan but it was cool enough though a heatwave. And that a good restaurant was next door. We didn't have a car. Very friendly staff in Premier Inn and Manager of pub next door made you feel welcome. The staff were very accommodating and went out of their way to book a taxi for our very early start the following morning. When the taxi hasn't arrived within a few minutes of the expected time, the morning staff called the taxi company without us even having to ask. Be aware that taking a taxi directly from the airport can cost £16 - book one in advance and locally if you can. The location is good and nice. Food is good in the restaurant. Nice pub, good food. Location was the only reason we booked as usually we are happy with the consistency of Premier Inn service and facilities. The hotel was much further from the airport than we realised and although listed as doing so, none of the airport shuttle busses service it. We had to book a taxi but that wasn't too much trouble. It still worked out cheaper than staying in a hotel closer to the airport. More variety in the vending machines would be nice. Not sure there is a lift in the building. Couldn`t fault it!Anne Payne. Takeaway menus weren't the best of options. nothing. Everything was perfect. Trying to find the inn. all was fine. Unfortanately I could not receive a mobile signal at the hotel unless I was stood in the car park. The Parsons Pig pub and restaurant has a Quiz on Wednesday evening and I could not get any food unless I waited an hour. This is inconvenient. Mobile service was very poor. Pub next door was shut for a private booking which meant we had to go elsewhere for food. We couldn't get breakfast as it didnt start until 8am, we had to leave for a rce by 8am which caused as big problems due to the location of the hotel. nothing. Lack of air conditioning, window opening only a couple of inches. Minor issues with the bathroom as I feel it could use a good bleaching but I understand this product is not allowed. This is a personal issue and not a reflection on the staff. Taxi from Gatwick was £24! Its cheaper to arrange this through a taxi company in Crawley... The lack of shuttle service or dedicated taxi service for the airport. We didn't want to stay "on the door-step" of the South Terminal but we struggled to get a taxi. The room wasa bit cold when we arrived and took some time to heat up although the weather was particularly cold the day we arrived. nothing. perfectly adequate. Nothing. expensive moving around unless you have a car as only option is a taxi. No true twin rooms. Very hot. It was a very hot summer day and there is no air-con. They offered a fan, though. Poor connections to the airport meant expensive taxis. I booked online and the system did not allow me the booking. Then I called the customer service in Premier Inn that was terrible getting throug the menue to person to talk to. Then she could help me with the booking but she could not give me the same price than it was online. So, because of system failer I had to pay much more. That was really a negative experience!!!. Pub was dead , Friday night 3 customers and the TV???. Breakfast lockout at 9am. It's an airport hotel. Why does breakfast start as late as 7.00 am? And dinner finish at 9.00 pm?. No place to eat after 9.30pm. The receptionist's English was poor and she gave use incorrect information about where we could find something to eat, resulting in having to find a burger chain for something to eat, not great! Breakfast expensive, service poor and quality questionable. Altogether very disappointing. the bed was so uncomfortable sleep on the sofa so hot in room no air conditioning gave small fan no good at all. The restaurant facility was situated in an adjacent public house, this had a tired appearance with a poor standard of decor. Cleanliness was not up to the usual Premier Inn standard and neither was the quality of food. Not a good experience!.
