This was the best hotek we have visited in tis country. Reception prompt, and very helpful, the room was clean, very comfortable and well equipped and the hotel had excellent facilities. We will definitely vist again. It was recently refurbished and the rooms the foyer and the bar looked great there was a very relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere in the place staff were terrific. The staff were pleasant and very attentive; the leisure facilities were excellent, and the rooms were very comfortable, and well appointed.

Small comfortable room and great bathroom. Room service evening meal good but quality of food not value for money. I like the fact that the room was fairly large and that the bathroom was very nice, and most importantly very clean... it was a 5 star hotel for a 3 star rate.Great room decor and luxurious bathroom, really loved the temperaturecontrolled bath/shower. Everything.Car parking barrier system i.e. having to collect a ticket to get out every time you wanted to leave and return. the price of breakfast could have been less. The lighting in the room was all "mood" lighting, with no option to have bright lighting for working, reading etc;, so on a miserable day such as we had it was rather dark. Breakfast very expensive (so did not take that option) but only what you would expect for London and such a smart hotel.On the web site there was no information concening the shuttle bus from airport to hotel. Ideally this should be addressed. One bedside reading light not working.Only slightly off incident was the driver of the shuttle bus who made no attempt to help with luggage. We were his only passengers and we are not exactly spry youngsters any more. He did not get a tip. Nope! First class!. Price of breakfast compare to its worth too high(16GBP). Should be half price. Internet is not included in room rate (7.5GBP per day). Price of the in-room mini bar, so nothing big at all. The view of my room. We had to change rooms as our TV didn't work but that was okay. We were given a nice room and we were changed to another nice room so can't complain.Reception said a taxi to Gatwick Airport would be about gbp12 - itactually was gbp20! If we would have known we would have taken theshuttle bus back at gbp 6 each. I paid for wifi access but did not know how to contect it - I was immediately put through to internet support who was excellent, yet I could not get a signal in my room and had to move to the bar at 11pm when I had been travelling all day and was alreay in bed. building works. tv wasn't user friendly and no garbage bin in the room. no shuttle service for late night arrival - long cab ride; wake up call didn't work, almost missed flight. turistic guide and information.
