  The staff were excellent with kids especially when we spent most of the day in hotel cos it was raining & they catered 4 us at lunchtime even though lunchtime was over they made sandwiches for us all & even the kids making a noise didn,t faze them at all!   The hotel is fantastic it has not been modernised like so many others, it has a personality and character of its own. I would reccomend it to anyone. The grounds are beautiful and situated next to a dairy farm.   The staff at the market inn hotel could not be faulted the hotel was nice for what we wanted. We suffered a breakdown on the way down to the hotel and thought we wouldn't make it for our booking, we called the hotel to inform them and they were happy enough to alter the booking if necessary! The food at the hotel was fantastic and worth t - I liked that it was a small hotel, it was clean comfortable and the staff were very attentive,the food was excellent and good value for money, we stayed on a Sat & Sun night and although they tell you about the noise due to weekend events, we heard very little noise and our room was at the front of the hotel.
