  Rooms are excellent value for the money and I was pleasantly surprised by the standard of cleanliness. Beds are warm and comfortable. Rooms on the ground floor along corridor behind the front desk seem to be in a quiet position, with no evidence of noise from other areas. The hotel was in an excellent position for ease of getting to Motorpoint Arena, which was just across the r - As we walked in the young lady on the reception was very polite and helpful the position of the hotel was excellent there is no parking but we parked in the st davids centre directly opposite the hotel and were there for 20hrs and it only cost £11 if you dont want to take your car the train station is only a 5 minute walk the room was really nice and facilities were very good already planing another stay at the ibis would reccomend value for money especially as it was only a 2 minute walk into

  The staff were excellent, very friendly and great service. We had dinner on one occasion and breakfast on both mornings of our stay at the hotel and all three meals wee superb. - easy to get to , facilities were very good. staff were very helpful as one of the 2 rooms booked did not get to the hotel system.   Our 3rd floor room was clean, well equipped with towels and toilet sundries. Heating system was excellent and we liked the facility of being able to open the window for extra ventilation. They gave us interconnecting rooms for us and our 2 grandchildren age 13 and 11 which was ideal. the room was pleasant and clean, it was in an ideal position for the shopping centre and the Mermaid Quay and the Dr Who experience all within easy walking distance. The breakfast was ok the continental part much better than the hot food.Good choice of drinks and proper orange etc. Good value for what we paid.

  This is a great place to stay, close to the cia, all the shops andrestaurants and the train station. You come and go as you please. Thestaff are extremely friendly.   We had an amazing stay. The room was lovely, spacious and spotless. We had a very nice breakfast with plenty of choices. The hotel is very well located, just a ten minutes walk away from Cardiff city centre. Lots of restaurants and amenities close by. The townhouse is a comfortable 20 minute walk through a lovely extensive park adjoining a river to the centre of Cardiff.   Great location, good price, friendly staff, great leisure facilities,lovely modern room with some character. Didn't eat here so cannotcomment about food but menu and bar looked good. - Staff were welcoming, helpful and the food was fantastic and above all the bed was really comfortable. The outside space is fantastic for lounging in the sun. The location is brilliant, with Cardiff city centre around 15 minutes away, and some nice pubs nearby.
