  The staff at a Room with a View were extremely helpful and pleasant. Although my room was very small, it was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. England was experiencing one the worst heat waves in years and of course there was no air conditioning. The hotel is in a perfect location, with wonderful views of the sea, pier and the Brighton Eye. The hotel is spotless throughout, and the rooms are wonderfully equipped! The bed was huge, and the most comfortable I've ever slept in, and the ensuite wetroom a delight. There were thoughtful touches everywhere- a coffee machine, lovely biscuits, and chocolate; bath robes and toiletries; a smart tv and WiFi....

  I have stayed at the Queensbury Hotel before as I merely needed a B&B for the night rather than travelling home. The previous room was adequate, in need of some decoration but clean none the less. I then booked this trip and again made my reservation at the Queensbury. The room I had this time was amazing! I was woken up at 4am with some drunken revellers returning but the stay was great - The hotel is very conveniently located - close to an underground car park and the sea front. The room we had was great, clean with nice interior. The only let down was the view. As we were located below the ground level, we had a wall of the neighboring building as the window view. Apart from that everything was really good and we would be going back when visiting Brighton again.

  I thought it would be awful based on the reviews here but was so pleasently suprised. The staff were great. The rooms are budget accomadation with far better facilities than a hostel. Do not go expecting 5 star, think hostel and you will find it's a lot nicer than that. - Cost effective for a group of lads who would only be using the room to shower and sleep. Made to feel welcome and provided facilities to store our bikes. We got what we paid for which was a room with a television, tea/coffee facilities, comfortable beds and a en-suite bathroom with a decent shower. The hotel was near the seafront so not far to walk to find somewhere to eat and drink.
