  We asked for a sea view and got exactly that. Could not have asked for better. Could lay in bed and hear the sea at night. Perfect! Breakfast was good too and on until 11am so we could have a nice sleep in!! Room also came with its own friendly Seagull which came to say hello from time to time.   We visit Brighton several times each year; this was our first stay at the Granville. Excellent location at a very reasonable price. We stayed in 'Lewes', a small room, very nicely designed (with an emphasis on glass blocks) and furnished. It was next to the lift (elevator) but we were not at all disturbed by operating noise.
