The Malmaison makes a point of being different to your bog-standard corporate hotel and while some of the in-house copy comes across at times as just a tad self-conscious, the claim to being a breed apart is nevertheless justified: this is a well-designed, extremely comfortable boutique-style hotel with an excellent bistro, a very stylish bar and friendly, helpful staff. It was my first time to stay with Malmaison Hotel. When I got in to the room wow it looks beautiful, romantic, cozy and very clean. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I love the dry Cereal that the chef cook. I hope we could get that as a gift or to have it at home very tasty. The cocktail drinks at the bar is perfect and not too expensive.
所有评语 » Loved the location, easy walking distance of central shopping area, around the corner from the car park where we left our car. Staff were very friendly and nice. Hotel bar was comfortable and had a very cosy, relaxing atmosphere. Room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Will recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Belfast. Comfortable, warm and quiet with very friendly staff. Great location for odyssey, shopping and night time entertainment. Cant wait to go back again. Carpark only 5 mins walk and 10.00 for 24hrs for hotel residents. Highly Recommend this hotel in Belfast for a nice city break. High standards of decor, room facilities, quality of food and professionally friendly restaurant staff. The B&B rates were very competitive and the online booking was simple to follow. I have stayed here previously and always enjoyed the experience. We stayed there one night. It is a nice hotel, well-designed, clean room. no surprises, the room was the same as the picture we saw when booking. normally, sleeping is difficult for me on the first night in a hotel, but it was almost perfect there. loved the feel of the place, the boudoir décor, the friendly and super efficient reception staff -in particular Leeanne who was our go to guide for our stay. Location was perfect too - the comfortable beds, bedding great shower and towels!. Lovely staff...lovely rooms (except for the bed, sorry) and great to have a well stocked fridge and great idea to have the crisps and chocolates. The location is exceptional, right across the road from victoria square... the staff in the hotel were amazing, especially at the check in desk, and was a big part of why i enjoyed my stay there. Facilities were top class, and its a location i would recommend to anyone. Loved the hip style which was a change from the quaint countryside. Staff went beyond being helpful. Rooms were nice size and location was fantastic to great shopping and restaurants. very quirky stylish interior. Friendly, chatty reception staff.Location perfect for both shopping and Titanic quarter visit. Cocktails gave a feeling of decadence to a leisure break. Loved it all. Was over moon when told the upgrade we asked for was allowed. And the Samson suite was well worth it. The lady's at check in where so nice, friendly and chatty. I was very happy staying at the Malmaison and would readily recommend it. The ability of the toilet power wasn t strong enough to flush away at one time have to waiting and flush again and again. :(. Unbearably hot room not ventilated and no air con. When I inquired with reception I was told there was a fan in the room and nothing else. During check out I mentioned the 'no air con' situation and was told I could have had a portable A/C device brought to my room. I pointed out that this option was not offered to me. My above score rating reflect my experience on this occasion. heater was somewhat slow to warm up the room. Although I love the dim lighting everywhere this was a bit of a nightmare when it came to us girls doing our makeup!.. make up mirror lighting would make such a difference!. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. I would have preferred room to be a little larger. Didn't like having to leave. Will deffo be back. Expensive car park and little help to deal with luggage. Low lighting and dark colours add to the romantic feel, but a make up light in the bathroom would be useful a bath should be standard in any hotel bathroom, except perhaps a budget chain. The lighting in rooms not ideal very dark. Rooms are slightly overpriced due to the fact that it's a very old and creaky building Breakfast not included in our room price was annoying, considering how much we paid for the room in the first place Paint peeling from ceiling in bathroom was a bit annoying too. Feel hotel is over priced. We paid £169 for a Saturday night this did not include breakfast. Just think this over priced. Room was slightly small. Windows didn't open easily, room was hot and difficult to get fresh air. We stayed during the one week of the year in Belfast when it's hot and there was no air conditioning!! Not their fault, we still loved our stay. One slight problem, parking is around the block and 1/2 price per day, not really a problem. Not great value for money. Décor interesting but helped to create the gloom in the bedrooms: it was very difficult to see anywhere except near the bed where there was a spotlight. The red shades on the lights by the dressing table dimmed any light there was. The room was very warm even with the window open and the thermostat at its lowest. No carparking leaving on a sunday (carpark at back closes on sundays). While paying for my drinks bill at the bar, the male bar staff continued his conversation with his colleague without even an acknowledgement of thank you or goodbye. room facing onto street had a lot of street noise. We felt the restaurant was over priced. It was warm at night. Cost should have inc breakfast and dislike differing rates of breakfast cost. Rooms were too dark. Wine offer was too expensive. There should be an acceptable house wine in the £17 bracket. Woken by noises from bins early in morning. the way the tvs are on the wall. couldnt tilt or nothing so ended up half of fthe bed to watch it. At night the room was so warm that we couldnt sleep. We couldnt even open a window..it was uncomfortable to say the least. We booked a superior room, I felt it was just like a normal hotel room, still a beautiful room but for the pictures we saw our room wasnt the same and Definatly not value for money on superior room!. No fried breakfast. Not being given the whole story about the Donegall Quay car park being closed on a Sunday when I checked in - only to find I needed to pay a £20 "call out" charge to a chap who was only 2 mins drive away in another car park. the dark rooms not enough light even to read a newspaper. The noise levels in our 1st floor room were horrendous. This spoilt our over night stay. Nothing. Room was far too dark: difficult to read or put on make-up in the evening.
