A bit pricy for a generic hotel without any character, but clear and
comfortable. Convenient for airlines connection..about a 8 pound cabride
(10 minutes) from airport. Restaurant generic, American style, very
busy. Nothing else around (in an industrial park) so no other eating
options. Check with attendant to make sure no groups are booked for
dinner, otherwise no dinner for you!

We loved the design & decor of the Dakota. It was very modern & stylish. The staff from beginning to end were amazing ... So so friendly. We stayed for 2 nights but on the 2nd night we decided we wld like our 9 yr old Grandson who we were visiting in Edinburgh to stay the night with us. The location was great, not to far out of Edinburgh. There is a bus stop 50yds from the hotel and you can get a bus to Edinburgh which costs £3- 50p return. which is a dam sight cheaper than the £20+ it costs to park for the day. The Hotel staff are friendly and helpful the hotel is a very modern design and beautifully appointed. The staff were very friendly and nothing was a bother for them. David was our first point of contact and Colin (the older one...lol) was fantastic with my grand-daughter. Meals were excellent, there was a wide variety of drinks. The security locks in the corridors made us feel extra safe and the room we were in was very comfortable with a very spacious bathroom. Overall I cannot think of a single negative thing to say about this experience. Will Definitely be back. Thank you.
