  the most comfortable bed, EVER! The bungalows were gorgeously quiet, and very lovely. Breakfast was superb, brown bread was a pleasure to see after lots of white bread in Migjorn!!   Easy access from Palma, only 40 minutes by bus, but Esporles remains a typical Mallorcan village unspoiled by mass tourism. The hostal has every comfort, and at a great price. Staff are helpful but unobtrusive - I felt quite at home. Local cafes, bars and restaurants are all good quality and inexpensive.   We had a bath tub, fully-functioning airconditioning, wi-fi in the room (we're on the 4th floor so reception's not 100% but still works!), clean showers with towels and amenities, balcony, and a working elevator. It's a few minutes walk to the bus station. - I stayed four different hotels in sant antonio and I can say that this was the best one. If you want to stay in a budget hotel, you can't find cheaper one with better comfort. Only location was not perfect, 10 minutes walk to beach but still cause no problem.

  We stayed at Hostal La Isla in august for 7 days with the half-board service. Satisfying food - but don't expect a five stars treatment, remember it is a hostel - daily cleaning service, aircon+wi-fi, closeness to the touristic port, the city centre, a supermarket and a free car parking in case you rent a car. I will return because it's a beautiful spot and the people are so warm.

  The staff! Very nice people. Also the location is excellent. Just few hundred meters away from noisy party-area, enough not to hear 24h drunk people screaming which is the main problem of most La Palma area. Fine beach just 3-4 minutes walking distance.   We had a delayed flight and long taxi wait - staff stayed open till 2am to check us in. Shared bathroom was always clean and never noticed anyone.   Hotel is very nice, simple but comfortable rooms, it has been recently renovated. Staff is very friendly, always with a smile on their face and willing to help. It has fantastic views to the marina of Ibiza and Dalt Villa.

  Described as a hostel, seems to just be the spanish word for hotel, loved it. Great staff and although basic facilities, it was all fine. Food generally good too, cooked breakfast 3 euros, snack 2.50, meal 7 euros, really friendly people and although you could hear people coming in at night, no parties to keep you awake.
