We stayed at Hostal La Isla in august for 7 days with the half-board service. Satisfying food - but don't expect a five stars treatment, remember it is a hostel - daily cleaning service, aircon+wi-fi, closeness to the touristic port, the city centre, a supermarket and a free car parking in case you rent a car. Friendly and kind staff. Believe me, it a good value for money and you won't get deceived by this hostel.
所有评语 » The owner was extraordinarily friendly and helpful; the double bedroom for a single person was more than adequate. Breakfast was lovely and he offered me choices of cheese and tomato on the toast - very Spanish and very nice. Location was very central but yet very quiet. Extremely good value. I will return because it's a beautiful spot and the people are so warm. Friendly and helpful owner,great location 5 mins walk to centre of town,rooms comfy and cool and a adequate breakfast,if you need better value for money as a budget traveller ,you are NOT a budget traveller. The hotel is a pleasant surprise - the images don't do it justice. Very clean, comfy and have all the necessary amenities. Close to Mahon historic center and port. The location of the hotel near to the centre Mahon is good.I like to owner, Paco, who gives a good service to all customers. Very friendly owner. Breakfast was nice. Excellent wifi connection and very clean rooms. - a clean, friendly and very Menorcan place. I would stay there again, definitely. Basic but comfortable with easy wifi (unlike some other Hostas): and easy to use. Very courteous, family-run Hostal. Always ready to help with a smile. Staff Rooms Late check-in. The location is quite close to the center of Mahon. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff. cheap, clean room. Nothing. Breakfast very poor - a pastry and toasted bread with butter and some jam, though hostal is a good value even without the breakfast. The front door and the reception were closed the entire time I've been in the hostal, you have to enter out back through restaurant. Nobody was there to check us in at 7pm, the owner's teenage son checked us in but he only spoke Catalan. Nothing!. Tv reception: maybe a another news channel. and the wobbly desk (!) but you get that. Parking locally was challenging. Locating hostal was tough as road name differs depending on map source and one way streets. Nothing. No lounge. The bathroom smells bad. Seems like the sewer was not well-maintained...And reception was not 24-hr available. They asked us to pay the rent on 10:30 pm but no one shown up. The elevator and the common area had a strong odor.
