  We enjoyed our stay immensly. The view is breath taking, the resort caters for all your needs and there is really no need to venture out except if you want too. There is a myriad of activities, catering for all preferences. The staff is helpful and friendly, the catering and variety of options excellent.   I stayed at the Tropicana in December 2010 and was not impressed at all. During my last stay I notced a remarkable improvement, i.e refurbishment, staff, etc. Well done! - The fact that it is on the beach front and our bus just dropped us at the door, that was awesome. Value for money as well.

The design and re-use of an old building is such a clever idea and most pleasing to the eye. The chef at breakfast as well as supper and presentation was excellent. The venue is also very peaceful and quite, so if you want to relax, away from the "city in the city", this is ideal.   It was such a pleasant surprise to see the new management and staff, all very friendly, helpful, full of fire and go. The food was very good, the rooms clean, atmosphere relaxed and friendly - The hotel room was comfortable & clean. The staff were friendly & helpful. It is within close proximity to the game reserve.
