Our room was clean, quiet and very spacious. The staff were helpful. My elderly mother-in-law was travelling with us and they rushed to get her room ready when we arrived a few hours before check-in time. I noticed that in general Puerto Ricans are very kind and thoughtful toward elderly people. The location was very good, just a few steps to the beach, some nice shops, a bus stop and a very funky Ben and Jerry's, . They also provided towels to take to the beach which was very great. We w.

Our room was big and clean. We requested a room away from the elevators so that it would be quiet, and that is just what we got, and we able to sleep well. The hotel staff is very accommodating and friendly. The area of the hotel is very convenient; close to the beach and many stores/restaurants. The staff was very very nice the room are very clean love that theirs no carpet location was great in the middle of evreything would recommend this hotel to everyone love the price... I love that the beach was walking distance and the water was clear. We walked down the street to local bars and pretty good Puerto Rican food. Good value, location (close to beach, restaurants, stores, sites), helpful staff (Manuel and front Arturo), clean, bed was comfortable,. I liked the fact that it had no carpets the pool area was very clean and the front desk staff was very helpful and nice. nice location, good price performance ratio compared to neighbor hotels. Our flight was delayed and we were unable to arrive in San Juan on the first day we had reservations. We were able to cancel our room and not be charged for that night even when we were past the cancellation time. well situated in condado room partially renovated corner room with seaview easy parking (15$ per day) friendly employees. Staff was friendly! I was able to take a short walk down El Condado and it was fun!. Second time here but this time was JUST OK>. One block from Ashford AVenue. the Lobby and front office staff where great, check me in early of the main street Location was good, plenty in walking distance, and old san juan not far away. Everything super nice, staff, location, rooms,. Some of the washroom fixtures were a little old and rusty looking, but not really much of a problem. Our T.V. did not work well. Seems like there was a problem with the signal, as it was intermittently working. We were given a slight refund on the room when we mentioned the T.V. at the desk on our way out. Bathroom is small but r still comfortable and very clean. There were too many little kids in the hot tub and pool unsupervised. There was trash in the pool, so we just walked to the beach. Noisy hallways spills into rooms, loud and destructive guests (gymnastics kids obliterated sauna and were incredibly noisy making it difficult to relax at pool and hot tub), no guest laundry facilities, Air Conditioner makes room too cold,. I did see roaches a few here and there and the free breakfast could be a little better and the pool should close at 12 not 11. There were so many little kids in the hot tub. The pool had trash floating around. the room should have at least one more outlet. nothing to report. First night our shower was clogged. The only thing I didn't like was my vacation was too short. Hallway noise during night. The spa was a little dirty. the temporary noise due to remodelation. We had booked this hotel in January with another couple. Apparently only 1 room got booked. The staff spent some time finding a room for us and even then we were never able to get the room in our names. Our bill was listed in the other names. hotel was in total renovation so had the impression to be always with workers... noisy due to renovation works a lot of dust due to renovation renovation not finished in my room swimming pool area not nice and very cold water breakfast is bad (no quantity, no quality) and had to go outside for breakfast wireless is sometimes a bit weak. Everything was ok. We were ther just for one night!. That they change the name from Holiday Inn Express to actual name. They did not have the King room available that I reserved 3 weeks in advance. Only a queen. The clerk gave no reason or did he apologize for the inconvenience. We spoke to the morning clerk and were told the rooms were being renovated. There was NO evidence of ANY renovation happening. The included breakfast was awful,very little selection, not at all like we had in the past when it was Holiday Inn Express. The rooms smell musty and need updating, I also booked a king bedroom and got a queen, wardrobe door fell of. Breakfast room needs to be bigger, and choice wasn't good.
