Authentic Japanese ryokan/spa with tatami room with private toilet
and sink, public bath and spa on the premises. Half-board plan with
breakfast and dinner in the dining room: excellent, beautifully
presented dishes. The staff was outstanding, particularly Koishi, fluent

Yamakyu was wonderful. A very welcoming and relaxing ryokan with an
excellent evening meal and great Japanese breakfast, and no diffi\culty
adapting these for a vegetarian diet. On leaving, our host offered to
drive us to the station (depite it being only a few minutes walk), and
he very kindly arranged to send forward an item that we had left in the
room - at no charge. We could not have asked for better. Thanks to all
