Far enough from Sorrento to feel private, but close enough by bus to get downtown easily (10 minutes to walk to the bus stop/ another 10 minutes ride into town).   The staff were excellent. It is in a very good situation although the immediate square it is in, is slightly run down and can be intimidating at first. If the noise of fireworks upsets you, this is not the hotel for you, as there are a number of firework shops in the square and during the festivals there are constant loud bangs.
