  The hotel is run by a great family who made our holiday very special. Our room had a lovely sea view as did the breakfast balcony.   The Management and staff very helpful and friendly. The rooms are all from facing and have a wonderful view over 2 bay and to Mount Vesuvius. Also has free car parking. I would definitely stay - At first sight, we were we were disappointed with the rather basic room. The hotel was exactly what we were looking for - perfect location, clean, friendly staff, free wifi at all times and great pool.

  I first visited Positano 2 years ago. The location of the Savoia is perfect. The family that runs the hotel, and in particular Claudia, are wonderful and very knowledgeable. One truly gets a feel for the region when staying at the Savoia. The breakfast is plentiful and the variety is excellent. This will be my hotel of choice - The hotel was nicely located and easy to get to by cab. You were able to get dropped off right in front of the hotel by car. If you come by boat, you would need to take the steep walk up to the hotel, though porters are readily available to take your luggage.
