  BandB Le Giare with Massimo, Claudia and their parents was the best accommodation in all of our 8 weeks travel in Italy. It was like going home and the hospitality exceeded that of hotels.   This B&B was definitely the best during my 3 week Europe trip. It's a well decorated accommodation run by a very kind and helpful owner. The room was big and all the facilities were kept clean.   This had a great location inside the walls of Lucca! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The two bedroom apartment was perfect for a family of five (with an extra cot requested). The staff gave excellent advice about parking options and even booked the parking garage for us, good service! Casa Paolina is like having your own appartment in Lucca. Big appartments, so and ideal place to go with groups of 4-6 people.Please be aware of opening times reception: 10am till 1 pm and 3pm till 6 pm. No breakfast, but many nice bars around.

(Rec - Incredible staff that took care of us as if we were their close friend. Every little thing was anticipated and taken care of by Paolo and the staff. We interrupted them while cleaning our room and I can honestly say I've never seen anything like it. They were scrubbing the bathroom and nothing was untouched. They picked us up rather than have our cab driver try to find the place. The food was very good as well! - I stayed there over a week and it was a great experience. The owner and staff at Il Seminario were all great people. The amenities were excellent. The room was spotless with everything one would need to be comfortable. The location in town allowed one to walk and be anywhere in Lucca from Il Seminario in minutes. Breakfasts were great with a variety that was as good as I've had in Italy. So happy I stayed there!
