Kind regards to all the staff from Gregory and Wanda! - The view was amazing, the suites are on the cliff face. The very private nature of the suites, pool, service very good. Nothing was too much trouble for Albert of George, any thing you wanted they would provide. Very close walking to restaurants and Thira shops and access to the old port cable car, path or donkeys.

The management and staff is second to none, and the rooms are cozy and quaint. The view is beautiful, and the locations was idillic for our wedding. Highly recommended.

  This place is excellent value for money and the owners are so warm and friendly! The room we had was lovingly adorned with paintings created by the owner and the all of the room looked as if it had been completely refurbished this summer. Our balcony was huge and had a view of the sunrise which was incredible! I would definitely stay at argonaftes - We had a very enjoyable stay of four nights. It is owned by the most lovely Greek family, who are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaned daily and was decorated with beautiful paintings (by the very talented father). Argonaftes Villa has loads of character and is a memorable place to stay. The location is great too - an easy walk from the bus station and very close to the centre to Fira. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

  Perfect location, it takes you about 10 minutes to walk to Fira and even less to Oia. We stayed there with my boyfriend for a couple of days and literally walked through the entire island. The hotel is nice and cozy,and has only 4 rooms. Staff was very fri - Very good location, 10 min walk from buzzing Fira but much more quiet. Excellent view of the caldera from the shared balcony. Kosmas, the owner, is kind and very helpful. Very good value for money, considering how much others charge for the view, if you are willing to share it. Tip: If you are budget conscious get a room without a view. The ones with the view just have a window anyway and the balcony is what makes it worth it.

Great location, 5min walk to Fira and by bus stop (buses to Oia and Fira), close by supermarket and cafes and restaurants. The service - We stayed at Villa Ilias in June 2013 and couldn't be happier with our choice. Our room was on the pool level which we liked: we could hang out at the pool and reach for everything we needed in our room! The room is modern and clean, with a small kitchen and fridge which is perfect as eating in Santorini can be expensive.
