  We decided to book three nights in this hotel because of the good reviews. It's a great budget hotel with a loveley owner! So friendly and helpfull. The rooms in the hotel looked nice and were clean. The shower was great! In front of our room we had a really nice balcony were we could sit in the shade and have breakfast. We would really recommend this hotel for budget travellers! - Angeliki, the owner, is incredibly kind and helpful. She picked us up from he bus station and took us back when it was time. She also gave us a map and lots of helpful tips. The hotel is in a great location between Fira and Firostefani, with a short walk to either. The rooms have refrigerators, which is a nice bonus, and the hair dryer was better than most hotels in Europe (even the expensive ones).

We arrived very early on the first ferry from Mykonos and there was no hesitation in serving us breakfast even though it was not 'technically' in our rate for that day. The room we had was lovingly adorned with paintings created by the owner and the all of the room looked as if it had been completely refurbished this summer. Our balcony was huge and had a view of the sunrise which was incredible! I would definitely stay at argonaftes - We had a very enjoyable stay of four nights. It is owned by the most lovely Greek family, who are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaned daily and was decorated with beautiful paintings (by the very talented father). Argonaftes Villa has loads of character and is a memorable place to stay. The location is great too - an easy walk from the bus station and very close to the centre to Fira. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!
