  The food and its location - The Hotel was in fact close to the Sanctuary as it states. It was also nice to have a restaurant at the hotel. The food was good but a little over-priced.

  The above ?s do not fit into my situation..I travelled with a member of my extended family.. I have stayed at the hotel before..I found it good, with excellent food and service. When we checked in, the lady could not have been more helpful in offering to carry helmets, bags, jackets etc to the room and showing us the facilities There was a gentleman there who spoke superb english (who was also a motorcyclist) who was able to give us local knowledge on the times of the road closures for the mountain passes due to maintenance. Although this resulted in us leaving the hotel very early the next morning before

  The location was perfect as a base for cycling and walking trips into the nearby mountains. It was also within easy walking distance from Saint-Lary and Veille-Aure villages for shopping and restaurants. The price of the 6-person appartment was very reasonable considering the time of year and a big sporting event taking place.
