The breakfasts were delicious with fresh croissant and baguette, butter, jams, cereals, fresh fruit salad - The location was excellent for visiting the medieval city. It is a beautiful house which has been carefully and tastefully restored. The owner (Bernard) was extremely friendly and helpful and recommended several good restaurants for us as well as giving us directions. The breakfast was very good and our apartment was superb with French windows leading onto the well maintained garden. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Although this accommodation is on a busy road, we found that we were unaware

  I don't want to start writing because I won't stop! So much care and attention to detail has gone into the Dochavert; you see it everywhere you look. Gwendoline and Philipe are fastidious and generous; welcoming and discerning; thoughtful and kind. I felt a part of their home. Breakfast was a marvel, worthy of any 5* hotel and the highlight - We had amazing time at B&B Dochavert. Location is perfect, only 10-minute walk to the old city and restaurants. This is a very beautiful B&B, hosts are the nicest people. They met us with champagne and snacks. Gweni was very helpful, she recommended few great restaurants in Carcassonne along with other beautiful places to visit while we were in Languedoc. The property is gorgeous with beautiful views of the castle and countryside. We had great breakfast with the most marvelous variety

  We had the benefit of the ground floor room which has a door into the small courtyard garden which was perfect for a quiet glass of wine after a heavy day sightseeing.   From the welcoming smile from Myriam on our arrival to the last spoonful of home made jams at breakfast on the morning of our departure, our stay can only be described as wonderful. The accommodation has only recently been renovated and our room, no 3, although relatively small, was decorated beautifully. It is situated about a 10 minute walk to La Cite and 5 minutes from the B - This small private guest house was very comfortable and well placed a short stroll from the main attractions. The on street parking was ok as it's on a quiet side street. Myriam served us an excellent breakfast in the garden. The guest's roof terrace offers great views across to the old Cite. There are hundreds of places to eat in the evening we found the Jardin d'ete excellent, great pizzas and a good ambiance within a walled garden just below the Cite walls

Madame Flo and Jean-Michel were very helpful and friendly. Patient with my attempt at the French language, but conversed well with my partner who's French is far better than mine.   It was in a great location & very good value for money. The family who run it are incredibly nice & helpful. Although the accommodation is fairly basic it is spotlessly clean. - extremely friendly people, top floor room ideal for family with 3 children, excellent breakfast, good location.
