I don't want to start writing because I won't stop! So much care
and attention to detail has gone into the Dochavert; you see it
everywhere you look. Gwendoline and Philipe are fastidious and generous;
welcoming and discerning; thoughtful and kind. I felt a part of their
home. It truly is a special place; I can't think of one thing in the
house or the grounds that was ugly or was not chosen specifically for
its form and function. Breakfast was a marvel, worthy of any 5* hotel

We had amazing time at B&B Dochavert. Location is perfect, only 10-minute walk to the old city and restaurants.
This is a very beautiful B&B, hosts are the nicest people. They met us with champagne and snacks. Gweni was very helpful, she recommended few great restaurants in Carcassonne along with other beautiful places to visit while we were in Languedoc.
The property is gorgeous with beautiful views of the castle and countryside. We had great breakfast with the most marvelous variety.
My husband and I had a wonderful stay in Dochavert , Gwen was a brilliant host, she gave us so much information about the area, with loads of maps, we didn't have to visit the tourist office .
Gwen rescued us on the first day as we got totally lost in Carcassone. The breakfast was to die for, the pool was lovely and the view of the vineyards was fabulous . Would definitely go back if in the area.
Gwendoline was a brilliant host, coped well with us arriving (and leaving) late! The house is a fantastic blend of old and new, and the view of Le Cite on the little road there incredible. The room was lovely - modern, clean and beautifully quirky. Breakfast was top-notch, we wish it has been a little closer to summer and we' have tried out the pool! Will happily return again.
Me and my friend absolutely loved the place. It was really a highlight of our two week trip in France. Great friendly hosts, beautifully decorated modern room, breathtaking grounds and a view of Carcassone. Delicious homemade breakfast was tastefully served in the family kitchen. Great experience. Highly recommend!!!!. We are sending our best regards and thanks to the owners.
We were welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine and very helpful information about Carcassonne and the area. The farm is 15min walk from town with a beautiful view of the old walls, during the day and the night. During the autumn, the picturesque vineyards surround the farm with the snow capped Pyrenees to the south.
It's an amazing place. So near the medieval city, and has gorgeous view of Carcassonne Castle and of the Pyrenees beyond the beautiful fields of grapes surrounding the B & B. The view is only surpassed by the uniqueness of the house and graciousness of the host.
This is a fabulous B&B with a fabulous host. We were made to feel extremely welcome without our host being overbearing. It is located in a very peaceful country setting but is an easy walk to the old city centre. I can highly recommend this B&B.

Gwendoline the owner was very friendly and informative. Phillip her husband picked us up from the airport. We felt very welcome and part of an extended family. Great.
Host who went out of her way to make sure guests had a perfect stay,
superb breakfasts, spectacular location with views across the vineyards
towards the Cite.
Funky and different. Swimming pool was a bonus. Hospitality unparalleled. Perfect location as it was within easy walking distance of the Cite.
Gwen was an excellent host. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious and the ten minute walk to the city made it an ideal location.
