The hotel was located just outside the city centre which meant that parking was available on site a big plus. The walk to the town took ten minutes and was pleasurable. The room I was given was large and the walk in shower with rain shower head was an unexpected delight. I plan to return next time with my wife. 1) Good location as a hub for visiting Bayonne center (2 km) and making excursions to the seaside (Anglais beaches 5 km - a lot better than overcrowded Biarritz) - by car or bike 2) Small-scale hotel with luxurious flair and personal touch.
所有评语 » Comfy clean room with proper walk-in shower. Lovely evening meal served in our room after a long day of travel, was truly appreciated. Breakfast was also first class. Very classy bedroom and bathroom (great shower), so a nice place to spend time while it was raining. Nice garden. Lovely small hotel. Very attractive building, rooms and gardens. Good room service. Spotlessly clean. A very nice hotel in a nice town. the room was nicely appointed, clean and comfortable. I liked the location, close to freeway and town. The staff did all that could be done to help. The room provided was very nice and in a good condition. Not a copy of thousands of other rooms. Pleasant comfortable and modern bathroom pleasant staff. Atmosphere, old character house, sitting outdoors, the birds singing. Not bad location. Short walk into town. Rooms were clean. Very pleasant clean and individual. Room good size and comfortable. The outside of the building, car parking, proximity of bus service to bayonne, biarritz. Nothing. Sadly the hotel does not offer much in the way of eating although it did offer one evening choice. I returned a week later on my way back to Spain only to find the hotel full which is a good sign but bad news for me. Nothing negative to mention. Nothing. I wanted to walk into the town, which wasn't far but the first few minutes were along a busy road. It felt a little soulless at first. I thought the breakfast was a bit overpriced and should have been included in the price. For a luxury setting and price a CONTINENTAL breakfast should be complimentary. Parking was not very good. Breakfast was very French. Pillows were foam. Bottled water in room nice but should have been cold not warm. Carrying suitcases upstairs Breakfast a little expensive for what there was and not as fresh as could be, but was still filling. Had a ground floor room and the wooden floors upstairs made other guests sound like a heard of elephants. Bathroom floor extremely slippery when you exit the "walk in shower". Glass bathroom door so people can be seen while using the toilet from all of bedroom. Hotel has now got very tired. Carpets badly stained in bedroom....bathroom floor tiles loose. Wi Fi very poor now. The state of the place, hygiene, maintenance, the stairs. The service quality was poor, personal was nearly rude (intrusion in our room at 7am without knocking at the door, etc etc) and unable to deliver the kind of service one expects from such a hotel. We will not recommend this place to any of our friends.
