check in at 2 am in the morning and despite this concierge was very pleasant and polite. good quality/price close to the train station so confortable if need to leave early morning. The decoration Fact that it was close to the station It had a lift, we had heavy bags We could get the bus from the airport to virtually outside the door. Location of the hotel was excellent. Our room looked out on to the bridge & across the river, we also had a view of the train station clock tower.

Excellent location in Bayonne, very comfortable rooms. Near railway station and buses. A good base. Location was good, just over the bridge. Very convenient to Gare Bayonne. Next to train. Close to the railway station and very easy to find. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast good for a family, particularly as it is free for under 12s. Quaint lift. Rooms are comfortable and do the trick for a no frills stay. The hotel is in a good location - right opposite the train station, with the city centre and cathedral a short walk away. Many cafes and restaurants surrounding. Wifi included in price. The staff. They were nice from the beginning, but we had also a small health problem and they were very responsive and friendly. Truly appreciated this. The location is good, also. It was very clost to the station so was a very good stop off point. The location directly across from the train station. Decent size room and parking was eazy to source. Proximity to the station. location good breakfast. location. Position. Hotel had recently untaken a very good renovation. Nothing. Awful place. The bed was allright. Near the old city. very little. Nothing. Hard to sleep with the window open due to the traffic noise. Walk into old town takes 5 to10 minutes. Breakfast was extra and very expensive at 9 Euro per person. Parking can be an issue but there is a building nearby which is secure but costly. Room was smokey despite being a "non-smoking" room. Lack of power outlets - just one in the bathroom for charging gadgets. No onsite secure ladling. The room we were in had only a ceiling window and a view out into the central light well. Shower rather small. Parking is across the road at the station car park, which seems secure, but a little inconvenient as there isn't really anywhere to offload luggage outside the hotel. The Shower was fairly hilarious and sprayed water everywhere! We were on the fifth floor, with the lift only big enough for 2 adults. The 4 persons apartment was a little bit congested and without air conditioning. The management should consider some investment. On a busy road junction so it was noisy at night if the windows were open. It was exactly what I thought it would be. Advertised that it had wi fi but when we stayed it was broken. On a noisy road, rooms very basic. old and small rooms. some of the area. no parking. Of the two windows in one room, one was missing a roller blind. This was found in the drawer and was taken to reception the next morning to be fixed a swell as the lamp on one side of the bed. A roller blind was put up that daybut with no mechanism to roll it up. Wooden staircase as fire escape! Being on the fourth floor. Location was very noisy, next to a major roundabout and bridge crossing, bus interchange with trains running all night. Traffic passing all night, revving engines, drunk people shouting No air conditioning so had to leave window open....OMG! Very unhelpful staff said that that they could provide a good nights sleep! There are much better places than this at the price. Small, pokey room. Doesn't look clean. Lift doesn't always work. Curtains a waste of time. No Parking facilities. We changed our booking for our return through Bayonne. Lack of air conditioning. We left the window open, but it was still warm and we had lots of noise from the street. The pillow was a "plastic" type, very sweaty. No air conditioning ( and it was very hot ) and no fan. It was very noisy No parking. noise,no wi-fi access, basic facilities. Poor location right opposite the main railway station -busy square - shaby room - no view - 2nd class accom. -staff not friendly.
